2014 Designer Dolls - Fairytale Collection Part II
Do we know when these will be released? I need to know if I need to start hoarding money now for the journals, lithographs, and notebooks (and hopefully nailpolish & lipgloss).
 
What will happen in October if they release LE Aurora,Maleficent and the designer couple doll all on the same day! Surely it will just crash lol. Didn't they do this with Ariel last year?

Pretty sure the Ariel LE dolls & designer Belle/Beast dolls were released on the same days. I thought the LE Ariel dolls were released in the beginning of October. I know the designer couple Ariel/Eric was the middle of the month.
 
If my memory serves me right, Ariel, Eric, and Ursula were released on October 1st, Belle and Beast DFDC on October 2nd, and then Ariel and Eric DFDC on October 16th. Last year the DFDC doll schedule and merchandise info was released on the blog on August 1st so we should probably be hearing something about the second set at the beginning of August
 
In Europe, we don't have two days of release (one on stores, one on website), so indeed Ariel, Eric and Ursula LE were released the same day as the couple Beauty and the Beast Fairytale Designer. It was a nightmare in the Disney Store of the Champs-Elysées (Paris)...I hope they will be more organised if the same planning is thought up.
 
I'm going to go to a store and have my mum try online for the LE dolls in October. Can you imagine how crazy it will be if they release Aurora, Maleficent, Phillip and a designer couple doll all on the same day!
 
Does anybody know if a lithograph set will be available when the dolls hit the stores? Looking forward to seeing new merchandise, the dolls are so stunning and i like them a lot more than the previous collection!

Last year some stores got the lithographs. I don't think all the stores did. I bought mine online.

The merchandise was released August 12th and 19th whereas the first doll wasn't released until August 20th. Keep your eye out on the blog, I'm sure we'll be hearing about the 2nd DFDC set release schedule very soon!
 
Thank you both so much! I guess August will be a pretty expensive month for disney collectors, haha! Think i will grab a set if our german store will get them with the dolls.

You're welcome! Also, an alternative to the lithos is the notecards. I always like them because I can cut the front picture off and then put the entire set together in one frame and it takes up less space. I got the 2011 designer set which came with 2 of every princess (but they released 10 girls at once instead of 5) whereas last year you got 4 cards for each prince and princess set. I only needed one set of cards so I was giving sets to my little cousins and friends. Just an idea :) I think they usually go for $15 so I'll be ordering a set of them this year for sure! And probably a Cinderella journal xD I don't need journals, I absolutely love them and drool over them, and then I don't write in them because they're too pretty to ruin with my chicken scratch writing, but oh I get so tempted! I'll make an exception for Cindy though, hers is just too too pretty!
 
$15 is a valuable price, i thought of putting them in frames too! Really like the Aurora Lith which became my new avatar! :) The Limited Edition Set can be purchased at our store since yesterday i guess, i bought her but it hurted a little since the set costs 35Euro, which makes around 40-50 Dollar! But it does not bother me that much, still sad that i did not get the Aurora LE, but maybe i will get her in october. I have to since i have ordered the lithograph set lol!
Thought about getting a journal, too, but our store has not got any of them and i decided to only get the lithograph set. Think this should be enough.

I'd say after the announcement, call your store and ask if they're getting any. I ordered a set from the online store last time and it came bent.

They sell her on the Bradford Exchange website! I've had my eye on her for a while too but I still haven't bought her and never remember to ask for her as a gift for birthdays or holidays.

Ooh thanks! They don't ship to Canada but I know a place in the States I can send her to. I'm sorta glad she's not LE and selling out quickly haha, I don't have the money for her right away and would rather wait until my birthday to get her. Wish she had a case, I'd love to put her next to my designer dolls
 
I would say two weeks till we get the next merchandise.. I personally feel like Disney should start pacing their releases a bit.
On the vinylmation side, over 3 sets are coming out in August, and each set costs $208, and Marvel's set will cost even more.
Big Hero 6 is also coming out and I don't want to get tired of ordering from their store. Not to mention, the massive frozen restock that might happen.

Is their site even equipped to handle all of this? >___<
 
Seriously what are they trying to do to us oh no looks like I am going to have to put on it on the card again and pay it off before the bf notices lol
