2014 Designer Dolls - Fairytale Collection Part II
I don't usually like dolls or even Princess merchandise but the Mulan set is beautiful! Keeping an eye out for release dates...

I know I might be in the might be in the minority here but I am in NO RUSH for them to announce the dolls lol!! I am doing a cross country move and need no distraction with saving my money LMBO!

That's fair, to each their own haha! I would prefer Cinderella to come out in September though as my birthday is in the early part of the month and I want to receive her as a gift (don't mind if it's late, but preferable to get her in September rather than October) but we'll see. Cindy was the first released of the 2011 set so maybe they'll start out with someone different

Ugh, this waiting is torture! The longer it goes on, the higher the chance becomes that I'm gonna use the paychecks I'm planning to spend on these dolls for Christmas presents and birthday gifts for my little cousins!

There are lithographs on eBay already. I wonder if that means they're releasing dolls soon.

Ugh!!! These people are morons! They're selling them as though they all ready have the item in hand to ship! Though the people actually buying them with no guarantee they're gonna get them are just as bad! Is there any way to report these idiots?

How much time does Disney usually give before they release the dolls? With the LE Aurora they announced the date like 3 days before it went on sale. They don't give us much time to prepare >.< I'm scared I'm gonna forget to check online for a few days and end up missing it :(

Truthfully, I have NO clue what they are doing with this release. For the designer sets, they usually released info on them a good month or so before they were released.

The blog picture has been released, the dates are:

Tiana and Naveen- in store on September 23rd and online September 24th
Pocahontas and John Smith- in store on September 30th and online October 1st
Cinderella and Prince Charming- in store on October 7th and online October 8th
Mulan and Shang- in store on October 14th and online October 15th
Briar Rose and Prince Phillip- in store on October 21st and online October 22nd

Looks like it will be a weekly release, which suits me just fine

It will be October for me since I'm only getting Cinderella and Briar Rose- which is too bad because Cinderella is my favourite of this set and one of my favs growing up, and she comes out exactly one month after my birthday haha. Oh well, I'm glad they don't extend through to November, I hate traveling when it's icy and based on last year, I'm thinking the weather won't be the best for traveling this year either. Anybody going to pre-order the set?

...oh no :-( Why does Cindy have to be released the SAME day as the 17" Aurora in Europe (I assume it's going to be the same release date worldwide?)?

The stores in UK are going to be madness, aren't they? People buying Aurora AND Cindy? I already preordered the 17" Aurora thank god, but I want to buy Cindy in store.
Will there be different queues for the dolls or is it going to be a mad house? Has anyone any tips or any experience on this?

I don't mind the week by week schedule so much, I'd much rather do it that way and get them distributed as quickly as possible (I'd rather wait up in chunks ie once a week for a month rather than every other week for a couple months). But the pre-order is good for those intending to buy all of the dolls anyways. If I were going to buy more than 1 or 2, I'd probably pre-order and sell the extras I didn't want, but that's too much of a hassle for people like me only intending on getting less than half of the collection.

And I would assume that the blog would be updated with that image sometime within the next 24 hours with more info. Hopefully they let us know about journal and mug and other fun merchandise because I'd like to see what they come out with!

I want to go in store to get them so I get them that day, but need to know of my store is going to get them, I actually want the first two, so end of September and beginning of October is going to be a big one for me!

Hmm.... Release date seems ok. I'm only going to be getting Aurora. Maybe Cindy if my friend wants her.

Does it bother anyone else that the page says Aurora instead of Briar Rose?

I'm glad Aurora isn't coming out the same time as the 17 inch. I'm only getting the Briar Rose one. I can see it madness on the day of Cinderella's release with the site crashing! Which will be annoying as I'm trying to get Aurora.

Earlier this year we announced the continuation of the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection, focused on five iconic Disney Princess characters and their leading men: Tiana and Naveen; Pocahontas and John Smith; Cinderella and Prince Charming; Mulan and Li Shang; and Aurora and Prince Philip.

I think it's funny how this 12" doll looks so much better than the 17" doll that we got. Good Job Disney Store!
