2015 Pin Releases: Let's help each other know about them.
My name is only 4 letters, but I've got Olaf, Pascal, and Elsa...trouble.

Husband's name also has Olaf, but additionally Anna and Sven

I'd like the set but 16.95 x 13 = $220 and that's assuming no extra boxes needed. Yikes.

These are really cool! I just need Lady, Vixey, and possibly B'rer Rabbit. I'm so curious about how they will release these -- I didn't know anything about pins the last time a set like this came out.

I just would like Anna for my collection, but to do all of my name would take forever. Sven, Annax2, Rapunzel, and Hades  Not happening.

It's funny; it never occurred to me that people use those sets to do their names!

I am not the brightest fox in the box.

The '50s Mickey & Minnie Dancing pin brings to mind a question I had: when the Dapper Days pins are announced, do they actually say that's what they are? I ask because it's an unofficial event.

So do you think the alphabet will be equal distribution of letters, or will they go all "Scrabble" on us and overload the vowels?

In 20 boxes I got 19 chasers. Distribution seemed even, just the normal multiples of ones I don't want that happens every time I do mystery boxes.

Update: the alphabet has not made its way over to WDW yet. The next time I visit is in the middle of February. I guess I'll have to wait until then.

With the rate people are buying these boxes (mainly to try to get the Frozen and Tangled ones), I'm just hoping that some are left by Sunday! (And maybe I get lucky and someone trades extras to cast members...)

Is it true that they've sold out already? I read that on an eBay listing, but I also find it hard to believe and kind of figured that they were just trying to jack up the prices on individual pins. There are a few I would like to grab before any chance of scrappers are found, but I'm not sure how plentiful the boxes are going to be over the next few days/weeks?

The alphabet pins may be sold out for today but will be returning many times over the year. There will be more than 10000 boxes released eventually, and if they do it like the Pixar set last year it will be once a month at different locations. Also, they have yet to be seen in WDW but will definitely be there as well, probably in greater amounts than at DLR.

Kaa-Ichabod-Mickey.

Preeeeeeetty sure I could pull that off if I wanted.

That's lucky! I love this set but my daughter's name is Penelope so....probably not going to happen! She mostly goes by Penny so that might be possible. I managed to collect all 3 of my kids' names in the OE alphabet set with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Pluto and that was hard enough since I traded and waited for sales for most of them. This set is so pretty though! I may try to collect our names even if it takes me years...

i just love that ariel surprise pin! any further info on whether it might show up in wdw? did it sell out in hours at dlr? is this the first time they have released a pin so similar to a HG le 100? also, can anyone point me to info about the set this is a part of? i have collected pins for a while but have been out of the loop and need to catch up, lol. thanks in advance for any info : )

The Ariel surprise from yesterday is the first pin in a set that will only be released at Disneyland. Pieces of the set will be released throughout the year and will fit together to form one large scene.

"We also have a few surprise pins planned including a collection featuring Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” for Disneyland Resort. When placed next to each other, the pins will form a complete picture."

thank you so much for the reply. could i be more clueless?? i really like these. hope they don't get too pricey on the secondary market as i am not near dlr. thanks again : )
