2015 Pin Releases: Let's help each other know about them.

Darn it! I have to get the shields of fantasy!! I have an extra Beauty and the beast if someone will trade for the little mermaid! I love the BaTB puzzle too I love the puzzle pins... boo I can't get them all

Hi guys,
I've never made it to any of the pin releases before, but I'm definitely interested in the Wall-E and would certainly pick up some others if they're available, and I just moved a lot closer to WDW, so I want to try this time. Can anyone give me the quick lowdown on how this works? I've definitely seen some LEs in the case at the Pin Trader's at Downtown Disney, but I'm not sure if they're all just available that way or if a ton of people show up on the day of a certain pin release and there's a line, or lottery, etc (the way things kind of go down at DSF).

Tips please!

I'm unsure of exactly how WDW releases go, but at least at DLR, as long as it doesn't say it's a wristband release they'll just stock the LE pins behind the counter at most or all of the pin stores on the day of release (unless they mess up and accidentally stock some or all of them early). Just wait in the purchase line and ask for the pin when you get to the counter. They're first come, first served.

That's been my experience at WDW, too. No special process!
 
According to Facebook groups this is what Disneyland looks like right now because of the Diamond pin release.
Absolutely ridiculous.

It really must be every person who ever collected pins, deciding they want this set. It's like the old days.
 
I'm glad it's not just me. I don't even think they're all that pretty. I was beginning to wonder if they were like infused with Walt's ashes or something.
