Good gravy! Sooooo many pins I'm going to want! (Somehow I hadn't seen the Imagination Gala preview images before, so thank you for posting them!)

I do find it frustrating that so many of the Marvel/Avengers sets leave out Black Widow. Of all the gazillion superheroes in Marvel's corral, we got ONE female hero in the Marvel movies, and then she doesn't even make it into all of the sets that are supposed to be THE AVENGERS. Like the six-piece set that has Cap, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and... Nick Fury. Wait what?

Thanks for posting all the Gala preview pins, Romancing_Train! I'm looking forward to the Alphabet pins and the Tsum Tsum Mystery set! :3

Although I'm sad A isn't Ariel (but I do understand why they chose Anna) and J isn't Jasmine.

Wow, so between the blog post and all those Imagination Gala pins, the only one that I really WANT is the Horned King pin (and maybe the Yzma pin). My collections get no love, lol. The Shields of Fantasy pins look like they could have potential.
 
The Disney Visa Card pins--how do you get them? Are they offered to all holders of the card, or something else?

I'll get the damn card (don't have to use it but for Disney purchases).
 
Thanks for posting the Gala photos again! I had forgotten about some of those! There are a couple of pins I am really looking forward to now!

You usually have to show your Disney Visa when purchasing those pins
 
Those Ariel pins are quite nice- Hoping to be able to score a few when I go down to DLR this year! I'm just hoping for a larger Edition size so they'll stay there a little longer...

Any disney park pin store that sells limited editioniis
You have to have a chase bank account.
Show them card and they will sell you pin. Honestly card isnt worth it . 10% off when you buy merchandise over $50, discount in very few disney park restaurants, etc
No discount on tickets :(


I can do pick ups for those pins if you want since i have visa card

They're LE 1000, according to the writer of that pin article on Disney Parks Blog. I asked about them in a comment, and he responded.

I second this frustration. It looks like there will be one Widow pin, the little TokiDoki pin, but that's in one of those $!@%^# blind boxes.

I hate to say I'll *need* any pins but those three Cap pins are, well, needed for my Captain America collection. The majority of which is made up of Universal pins. So far I have just about every Cap pin released by both Disney and Universal and now three new ones. =_=

You’re so wonderful to offer, but I’m limiting my collecting. While I DO like many of the Frozen pins, I’m limiting my character pins to Boo from Monsters, Inc. That and the sets for Magic Music Days, Minnie’s Moonlit Madness, and anything Club 33. Just too many pins!!!!:sad:
 
Sorry if it was in the post, maybe I missed it- did that Pete's Dragon pin release yet? It's soooo cute, I loved that dragon as a kid and would love to collect that pin :)
Also, does anone know of any site like this that shows upcoming pins from HKDL?

*shrugs Well, there are a few additional benefits to having the card. Access to these pins for one, and the free character photo ops in DCA/WDW; plus with the credit card you get 1% rewards back to use on Disney merchandise, room stays, etc. I never use the discount at the parks because my annual pass gives a higher discount, but it does come in handy the few times a year I go shopping at the Disney outlet as they don't give passholder discounts there.

I'm always torn when there's nothing I really need from the previews; on one hand I know I'll be saving a ton of money since there aren't a bunch of pins that I'll want to get, but on the other hand there are fewer pins for my collections. The only things that I really want from all the previews is the Joy/Sadness pair from the Best Friends set and the Daisy tsum tsum, which I'm hoping should be fairly easy to get. I'm still on the fence of whether I like the style of the Villains mystery set enough to try and get Scar, and I'm waiting for more information about the alphabet set before deciding whether to try for it (I wonder if it will be the new hidden mickey set for this year...).

I am wondering what is inside of the Grand Californian hinged pin, though.

Completely agreed. It's pretty offensive. Captain Marvel and her movie can't come soon enough. They can't leave the main character off merchandise for her own movie, or so I'd hope.

My girlfriend is SOOOOOOOOO excited for the Captain Marvel movie! I hope they'll have some good pins for her!

Hmmmm, this makes me contemplate switching my card to a Disney card! I have an AP, but as you say, the discount would be useful at the places that don't give AP discounts.
