So, now that DSSH has announced that today (11/28/17) is the last of the PTDs for the season, I decided to start a new list for 2018.

PTDS are back!

2/18/18: Belle (LE300), Daisy Duck (LE300), Bruno (LE200). Belle and Bruno sold out 2/18/18; Daisy Duck sold out 2/19/18
2/23/18: Darkwing Duck (LE500), Mickey Mouse (LE300), Slightly (LE300). All three sold out on 2/24/18. Unfortunately, not during the release so no flip.
3/6/18: Jangles (LE400), Timothy (LE400), Skylar (LE300). Timothy sold out at the 3/9/18 release. Jangles sold out on 3/12/18.
3/21/18: Mim (LE500), Finnick (LE400), Max (LE300). Finnick and Max sold out on 3/21/18. Mim sold out on 3/27/18.
4/11/18: Chilly from Doc McStuffins (LE300), Launchpad McQuask from Duck Tales (LE300) and Marie #2 (LE300). Launchpad and Marie #2 sold out on 4/11/18. Chilly sold out after the release on 4/14/18, so no flip.
4/24/18: Scrooge McDuck from Duck Tales (LE400), Sgt. Tibbs from 101 Dalmatians (LE300), Woody from Toy Story (LE300). Woody sold out on 4/24/18. Scrooge sold out 4/25/18. Tibbs sold out 4/27/18.
4/27/18: Baby Moana from Moana (LE400), Hallie from Doc McStuffins (LE300), Einstein from Oliver & Company (LE200). Einstein and Moana sold out on 4/27/18. Hallie sold out on 5/4/18 during the pin release.
5/4/18: Victor from Frankenweenie (LE400), Hank from Finding Dory (LE300), Jake from Rescuers Down Under (LE300). Hank sold out on 5/4/18. There are reports that Jake sold out on 5/4/18 but also other reports that he's still available. Victor sold out on an unknown date but was not in the case for the 5/16/18 Dark Tales release.
5/23/18: Ellie from Up (LE500), GoGo Tomago from BH6 (LE400), Jiminy Cricket (LE300). Jiminy sold out on 5/23/18. Ellie sold out 5/26/18. Unknown with GoGo sold out
6/9/18: Buzz Lightyear (LE400), Elena of Avalor (LE300), Jerry Jumbeaux Jr. (LE300) from Zootopia (LE300). Buzz Lightyear sold out on 6/9/18. Jerry sold out on 6/9/18. Elena sold out at the release on 6/15/18.

7/16/18: Pluto from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (LE400), Queen Leah from Sleeping Beauty (LE300), Toulouse #2 from The Aristocats (LE300). Toulouse #2 sold out 7/16/18. Pluto was sold out by 7/23/18.
7/31/18: Mim as a Dragon from SiTS (LE500), Fred from BH6 (LE300), Pinocchio (LE200). Pinocchio sold out on 7/31/18. Fred sold out on 8/3/18. Mim sold out on 8/5/18.

10/12/18: Bellwether from Zootopia (LE400), Captain Hook from Peter Pan (LE400), Abby Mallard from Chicken Little (LE300). Hook and Bellwether sold out on 10/13/18. Abby sold out on 10/26/18.
10/26/18: Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet (LE300), Ralph from Wreck it Ralph (LE300), Mr. Willerstein from Meet the Robinsons (LE300). Due to QC issues, Mr. Willerstein was pulled on 10/26/18. Ralph sold out on 10/26/18. Amelia sold out 11/2/18.
11/2/18: Orville from The Rescuers (LE400), Goofy (LE300), Hiram Flaversham from The Great Mouse Detective (LE300). Goofy sold out 11/4/18. The others sold out on unknown dates.
12/6/18: Moana (LE500), Bowler Hat Guy from Meet the Robinsons (LE400), Aunt Sarah from LATT (LE300).
12/18/18: Miguel from Coco (LE500), Evinrude from The Rescuers (LE400), The Aliens from Chicken Little (LE400)

I kind of feel like that the PTD reports until the new year will be treated like a documentary of a bear in hibernation for the winter. "The PTDs have officially retreated into their dens for a long slumber, and will not see the light of day for several months."

I would guess that even if they do get some more in soon, they may wait until January to release the new set unless they really need the sales numbers for their books. December is probably a busy time for the shop with all of the holiday tourists (and Last Jedi at El Cap), and the solid crush of PTD people would not be fun to add on to that.

From how I read it, there can be two sets in a day if the day started with part of the previous set and then one flip. But I guess we will have to wait and see if the situation presents itself.

I can't decide if I like this change or not. One one hand, it cuts down on the ridiculousness of camping out all day. But having them available all day increased my chance of getting *something* later in the day even if I couldn't make it for the initial flip. And now it's going to be constant Facebook checking for "IS THE NEW SET OUT YET?!?!" It was bad enough when we knew a new set was coming out right after the previous one. Random releases are gonna make that worse.
 
Also, I really wish they would REALLY enforce the "no camping out before a certain time" rule. They say it's not allowed and yet always allow it. They need to block off the esplanade, have security go outside and shoo people away, etc. I can guarantee you that if they advertise the start date ahead of time, hundreds of people will be out in that line by 8am. So you either need to break the rules yourself or miss out on getting the pins due to the other rulebreakers. :/

I think it would be hilarious if they came out and wristbanded everyone right up until 9:30, then switched out the colors at 9:30, so everyone with the old color wristbands was denied purchase.

I think you're right in that if there an old set sells out, then it COULD flip to a new set that day, but not necessarily. Also, if that new set sells out the same day, then they definitely will not flip until a later time.

I'm wondering if the random flips will make the current ones sell out faster or slower. People would "help the flip" but now.. buying more may not necessarily help it flip faster.

Belle is so pretty! Hoping I can trade the other for dumbo #1 or blue dress belle.

Bruno is also cute. Very fitting since we just watched Cinderella for the animation challenge
