I look at it several ways:

- The more they do it, the more it normalizes it. Regardless of the reason behind it, it still puts Pride into the world in a positive (or at very least neutral) connotation.
- Giant corporations are motivated by what would make them the most money. If they did not think a majority would support it, they would not do it. The fact that they are putting out stuff means society as a whole has shifted enough where they feel like the investment is worth it.

Totally agree! We can always try to see the “bad” in things, but I like looking at it the way that you do. Just imagine all the little kids who get to see a flag that is representative of LGBTQIA+ rights and acceptance and pride. Maybe it opens up a dialogue for them in their family unit, or maybe it just makes them feel less alone if they identify themselves as a member, or maybe it just makes them less ignorant/resistant to the notion that other lifestyles exist. I wish I could have lived in such an open/accepting society growing up.

Grrrr my Jasmine Castle pin came horribly crooked with a bad hinge. If anyone has an extra in good condition, please keep me in mind

Mine was super crooked as well, worst of all the castles so far. Tiny bit of pressure at a time whenever I walked by it for a few hours has it back in alignment. Perhaps yours is also very carefully adjustable to be fixable?

Potential reasons:
1) sold out fast (I was on the web site ~10 after the hour and this pin was not available)?
2) only being sold in stores?
3) web glitch where it is not popping up?

I was looking for it also... kinda think #1 above is what happened, but I never saw the shopdisney.com posting. Usually there is at least the sold out placeholder, but didn't even locate that.

Yes, it is/was a parks exclusive if the park got it in. My friends are at DLR today and he asked for me and the CM told him only WDW got their shipment and DLR did not. They sent me pics of the shopping list DLR has and there's a lot missing today.
