Up for auction in 24 hour #3 is
Pin 83256: DLR - Classic 'D' Collection - Monorail http://www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=83256&sid=4590.1342593967
I have been collection train pins for 10 years and just came to the realization that the Monorail is technically a train with 3 cars, and I don't have any monorail pins in my collection. However, I don't have any plans to start as you can see, my train board is almost full. (You'll have to check out the picture of my train pin board I just posted next to my pirate one in my album.)
This auction will end at 9 p.m. EST. on July 18.
I do not care whatpins are bid so don't spend too much time looking over my wants list, but ifyou offer me a pin that I think I might be able to use in the future or catchesmy interest then I am good.
The few exceptions are:
Anything with Stitch in it
Hidden Mickey pins
Open edition pins
Pins that have an up-side-down ratio (i.e. it has more people trading thanwanting)
Pin trading starter kits
Pins that have favorable results
Pins on my wants list
TRAINS, especially those on my wants list, but no Casey Jr.
Blind boxes of vinylmations (These can be purchased on Disneyshopping.com ifneeded)
Jessica, Maleficent, Tinkerbell, Ariel, HHG and Haunted Mansion
Some older Disney Auction and Disney Shopping, especially with the charactersmentioned above
Current or upcoming WDW, DL, DSF and WDI LE pins, especially PODM
An occasional pirate pin I don't have, but that doesn't happen too often as Ihave lots and lots of them
Creativity in the bid also helps a bit
Whatyou bid in the auction is extremely important to no only having a chance to wineach individual auction, but also a chance to learn the clues to the mysterypins. Every time you participate in an auction you get bonus points that willhelp you when it comes to certain future auctions. The winner of each auctionalso gets a little bit more help. The real question is, if you had a chance towin a pin a lot of other people want, wouldn't you want a better chance ofknowing what it was?
Those with a :hsd: by their name have received bonus clues.
