Hi everyone,

Im posting this here because I wanted to inform those that I had discussed possible trades and purchases of pins recently.

I got all energized and excited with all the great releases lately, but I have once again hurt myself. I fell down the stairs about 10 days ago, tore several ligaments, bruised my bone and have a small fracture. I went for an MRI today and it doesn't look good. The doctor sent me to get an ultrasound because he suspects a blood clot. Unfortunately, the imaging center never got me in today and I'm too exhausted to get to an ER. My doctor leaves out of the country Wednesday so he's trying to get all my tests done before he leaves. I am not allowed on my feet, which I had to break the rule since my hubby's sister in law passed away and we had to travel this weekend. (I hate crutches!)

my PCP is doing some referrals trying to figure out why I keep falling, I have fallen at least 5 times in the last six months.

I'm really hoping this doesn't set me up too much for my main collections, but my health has to come first. Of course, they release new BT, brave and tangled pins now! I just accumulated over $1000 worth of medical bills today, with MRI, CT scans, and now an ultrasound. Being early in the year I have to meet new deductibles with my insurance.

needless to say, I really could use some pixie dust! I am dying to go back to Disney which I can't do because I am unable to drive.

Your prayers are greatly appreciated! The only positive side to this is that I can play my video games when I'm home because all I'm allowed to do is lay down with my leg elevated.

I'm hoping this will only be a few days of me being hard to get a hold of. I'm limited to my phone and my ipad which does not allow me to always do what I need on the Internet.

Thanks, me too. I'm actually becoming pretty scared of falling, I have been extremely conscious of trying to not fall, and here it happens again. Thanks again and I will keep you guys up to date as I am able.
 
Aw...omg please get better real soon. 5x is definitely not good. Maybe it's vertigo or something...do you get black outs? Dizziness? Aura's? Migraines etc.? Sounds like a balance issue to me which could be one of the mentioned issues. I suffer from chronic migraines seasonally and I get very dizzy at times. I've fallen in the tub during one which can be really dangerous. I take preventative medications now. Definitely keep track and maybe a little journal of any symptoms that may be throwing your equilibrium off.

i don't know what it is, I do get migraines about once a month, but no dizziness or blackouts. Thanks for the good thoughts.

Yes thanks for the good thoughts, after we figure out what's going on with my foot/leg, I will be headed to a neurologist and getting some other tests done.

I'm headed to get an ultrasound now, doctor is worried I might have a blood clot, which would land me in the hospital if its positive. Arg!
 
I hope that you won't have a blood cloth. And I hope all this can be figured out soon. Take care of yourself and pins can wait.
 
Lots and LOTS of prayers coming your way. I am going to an ortho on friday because I fell on 12/30 and I hurt my knee pretty bad (and I just had surgery 2 weeks ago for a hysterectomy and postrior prolapse repair.) I TOTALLY feel ya on the medical bills...it stings.

We are here for you! Hope the reason you keep falling turns out to be nothing serious! Thinking of you!

Night blindness? Some pilots have those problems (hence they can't fly)

Oh no! Sending lots of healing pixie dust your way. I agree it sounds like it could be balance related (which incidentally can be an inner ear issue, so you may need to see an ENT as well as a neurologist) or vision issues. I hope everything gets settled for you soon!
 
Just got a text from Mahrii. She is still in the hospital, having a lot of blood work done. They think it's a blood clot in her leg but she is hooked up to an IV, oxygen and a few tubes so it's hard for her to log-in. She might not be able to go home for a few days (maybe not til the weekend) so if she has any pending deals (she knows she has one with at least one member which I have already PM'd), she is not flaking out!
