While I'm not a pin-expert and have just been in this for a little over a year now, I'll just say you have a LONG wait ahead of you until we get to the story-relevant and cool Frozen pins. WiR has been out just over a year now and there are still barely any story-related pins (scenes from the movie, etc.) or anything that I think you're getting at. Now, given, there will be a ton of more Frozen pins than WiR since Frozen is a princess movie and merchandise just flows from any princess movie, but still.

I didn't think too hard yet about what Frozen pins I'd like to see, but 2 I know I want are:
- Anna as ice
- Anna and Hans on the clock from "Love Is An Open Door" with their silhouettes as they're doing the robot

Yea you're on the dot. Like I mentioned before... Tangled which is a princess film didn't really start getting new poses and more movie accurate pins til maybe this year really and it came out in 2010. So that's 3 years almost. Wreck it Ralph came out last year... You still got a while to wait although I will say there have been quite a few vanellope pins already... None of the other characters which stinks but it's doing better then say PATF?! That's a princess film and they get basically diddly squat.
Frozen has seem to have a more positive reaction and Disney has been really aggressive with this film so I wouldn't be surprised if UK pumped out a pretty nice pin for this movie pretty soon. Paris already started with the new Anna le pin coming out, which I'm super happy about since so far only Elsa had a single pin with the DSF surprise pin.
 
Yeah, I think at the moment Disney is gonna pump out iconic poses of them (like the Olaf we've seen) to see how well the merchandise does, but they don't want to okay too many poses since if it flops (which it won't but they don't know yet), they don't want to have wasted all that time.

As for more pins (cause I was thinking about this):

- Olaf getting his head punted off by Anna and Kristoff
- Anna and Elsa on opposite sides of the door when they're older
- Anna and Kristoff running from the wolves
- A stained glass pin of an iconic scene in the movie (kind of like the LE100 DS.com Stained glass set, though IDK what iconic scene it would be but I want Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff in it)
- Olaf getting impaled
- Anna and Olaf by the fire at the end
- PTDs of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Hans

That's all I got for now that I REALLY want for now.

Yeah! This has "slider" written all over it. Watch Olaf's head ping-pong back and forth from Anna to Kristoff ... Kristoff to Anna ... etc.

I guess I was hoping they'd capitalize on the release and the hype. They churn out plenty of other random junk, some of which will sell and some of which won't. At least with pins, there's an instant market these days. But (forgive me, this was Before My Time as a Pin Collector), don't people reminisce about the good ol' days when Tangled pins made it into the sale rack at DSF instead of selling out immediately? Maybe the slow build to that explosion of interest has made them hesitant. It sure doesn't happen with many pin releases anymore, and certainly not with Frozen so far!
 
ok. I figured more I want:

the paintings on the wall... need those with anna posed in front... like in the song right before they open the gates. thats like... 3 pins right there!

Olaf in summer scenes.

Haven't seen Frozen yet - but I hear that Hans is the Villain (correct)?? Any input on any pins featuring him??

Disney should sell John Carter broadcast rights for cheap to any channel that wants it. Let people see that it was actually a great if horribly mismarketed movie. Let it build a fanbase and eventually hope there's enough interest to justify a sequel or theme park attraction. In other words, the Newsies route.

PatF did poorly in theaters because boys didn't want to see a princess movie. Disney got nervous and underproduced PatF merchandise and PatF stuff became the hard to get toys that season because even though boys had no interest, the movie was popular with girls. PatF can be thanked for Rapunzel Unbraided becoming Tangled and The Snow Queen becoming Frozen.

Not sure if it has already been mentioned, but does anyone else think they may include frozen in the new keyhole connection series coming out? With Anna singing to elsa "do you want to build a snowman?" If they do, I really hope it will be obtainable as I'd love a pin of toddler Anna and Elsa <3

This thought occurred to me the other day ... As far as "obtainable" ... I'm already having nightmares about every potential Frozen release and how hard/expensive it will be to obtain the pins, especially since I am stranded in a park-less zone! :-P A keyhole pin would be ADORABLE, though.
 
:p Would love a spinner of Hans. One side showing him as the adorable, charming Prince. The other side showing him as the scheming little plotter that he is!

Would also love a pin of the King and Queen. I doubt that will ever happen though, as I'm still waiting for a pin of Rapunzel's parents!

Same here!!! The park-less zone can be a scary place for pin collectors :lol: I have never been a completist when it comes to pins, but I have a feeling collecting frozen will feel just as stressful for a while >.< I'll just have to be really selective with which I want to go after, and be content with loving the ones out of my reach from afar.

But yeah, I would be surprised really if they don't incorporate that disney moment. It's such a bittersweet scene!! ^.^

yes! I think they really have a lot of range of pins they can do with Hans. And I would *love* a pin with their parents - especially with Elsa and her father. They had such a short presence in the film, but still so memorable and touching <3
 
I didn't read all of the responses, but am I the only one who wants troll pins?
 
I've decided to collect Frozen, but also just the ones I really like. I don't really care for being a completist, there are pins I really don't like. Plus, it's already hard for me to get the DSF pins atm.

I'd love a set of pins of all the characters when they're toddlers. And any pin of Olaf in another pose as the DLRP or the DSF pin. I'd also love a pin with Elsa and Olaf. And I'm in love with Elsa's ice dress, so maybe like a jumbo with pretty sparkled snowflakes on the dress or something. And a pin with Olaf and Sven, I love those two.
 
A few pins i'd love are: (Very spoilery underneath)

A pin of anna and elsa behind their doors like the door frame inbetween and them sat on both sides (I cant explain xD)

:P I think its obvious which pins I want most of hehe!

I think we can see there being more frozen pins sooner, rather than later because of how popular the movie is! It has already made $491,866,000 And its not even been released everywhere yet, thats more then wreck it ralph has made! The merchandise is selling out super fast, even in the UK, where stuff usually doesnt sell as well, everything is just gone! SO i think Disney will start pushing frozen merchandise out more and we might see more Frozen pins quite soon hopefully :D!!

It's weird, as I'm very on the fence about how I feel about their parents. Can't deny what a handsome couple they are though! But yeah, would rather have a pin of Rapunzel's parents first! :D There's loads they could do with Hans. I suppose they have to be careful though, as he's the least obvious villain ever. If they released any merch of him within the villains range, it would be like the world's biggest spoiler!
