THIS IS EXACTLY WHY MY DAYS OF A CAST MEMBER ARE COMING TO AN END. i HAVE A MASTERS DEGREE IN COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY. I SPECIALIZE IN YOUNG CHILDREN AND TEENS. THIS STORY IS ANOTHER GREAT REMINDER WHY I NEED TO GET BACK IN MY CAREER LIKE I WAS A YEAR AGO. AS A PARENT, YOU REMIND YOUR CHILD THAT THEY ARE NUMBER ONE AT WHAT THEY DO. FIND OUT MORE ABOUT WHO THEY ARE, WHAT THEY FEEL, AND WHAT THEY THINK. ACKNOWLEDGE WHAT THEIR TALENT IS EVEN IF THEY ARE HELPFUL USE POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT TO ENSURE AND VALIDATE THEIR SELF-ESTEEM. WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG THEY ARE BUILDING THEIR SELF-PERSONA AND THEY NEED THE MOST VALIDATION. RESILIENCY IS KEY AS WE PROGRESS IN LIFE. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS STORY YOU EMPOWER ME SO MUCH. I WROTE THIS IN BOLD AND ALL CAPITAL LETTERS BECAUSE THIS STORY MATTERS TO ME IT MAKES ME REALIZE HOW MUCH I MISS BEING A THERAPIST AND SCHOOL COUNSELOR. Sorry to hear you have had some poopy trading experiences,,,,usually Disney people are pretty non-judgmental. Well ill be in DL soon and we MUST meet and hug and trade and bring sexy back!
 
I got bullied from when I started primary school to when I left college, with 0 friends. I'm just myself now because why please people who dislike you on something so petty as your looks? There are so many beautiful and kind people in the world that people write off on appearance or how they talk but the loss is theirs.

All I can say is bullies are stinky!!!! lol
I ve seen bullying in all kind of groups even within the LGBT groups its such a problem in humans as a whole (big sigh)
So some people don t get on or are different but there is no need to be so horrid about it RRRR
Anyhow I agree with some of this thread ignore "stupids" its a waste of time and energy...

Wow, I just have to say that this is a wonderful thread! It's never ceased to amaze me how cruel people can be just because someones different from them. I've always been an outcast all through elementary, middle, and high school. Now that I'm in college though, I think I'm finally starting to fit in a bit more .

At first, whenever I was made fun off, I always felt like I should try to change so I'd fit in more. When I got to high school though, I finally realized that I don't have to change who I am just because of what someone thinks. I enjoyed being who I was. If someone didn't like me for who I am, then I don't need to have them in my life. I love me for who I am, and my family and friends love me for who I am. There's no one I'd rather be than me!
 



I think you are truly an adorable, wonderful,joyful, sweet,kind,generous person, and we shall meet! I have to say your wonderful posts/sales threads are a joy to read, and when you first showed up on the forum and I read you called your pins sexy, well I loved it, your threads are so uplifting to me and refering to your pins as sexy,well I just loved it! and still do, it brings out the fun peppy girl out of me! and you know what!! any pin from you IS sexy! you go! go and be you! because I love who you are! and love your confidence! and anyone who bashes you because of who you are, are just jelous because you are not afraid to be who you truly are! and they are missing out! and don't deserve you! and I am missing out! I cannot wait! for the day we meet! be proud of who you are, I'm proud of you!
 
I just have to say that you seems like an amazing person, PrincEric!

We have our fair share of difficulties in our family and have been through so much. Right now its one of my daughters who are going through a really hard time. She has among other things Cerebral palsy. But its actually not that she has it that is the hard part, its that she has such a small disability that is the problem for her. Everyone is questioning her, because you cant see it right away that she has a disability, why she has her wheelchair when she can walk and why she cant ride a bike even though she is almost nine and why she cant jump rope ans so on ans so on. Her disability is not that visible but she gets really tired fast and having a hard time with her balance so she just cant do those things, and she is really tired of haveing to defend and explain her self all the time. She also have an identical twin for better or worse. She always have support from her twin but she also have an exact copy of her self that can do everything she cant. She has been so sad the last couple of months. I think she is depressed. But now finally she will get to see a conseler and will go see here ones a week for two months. I really hope she will help us get our happy girl back because it hurts my mummy heart so much to see her so sad.

With that I just want to say that your job is really important and even if you stay at Disney Im sure you help children even there by talking to them! Im happy that there are people like you that can teach children that its ok to be themselfs, whoever that might be! It doesent matter if you have disabilitys, if you are small or big, if you are straight or gay, everyone deserves to be loved and to be happy!

(Two of my best girlfriends are gay and they just had their first baby togehter. Im just so happy for them! That boy will be loved like no one before!)
 
Prince Eric....another kind and thoughtful thread....it brings a wee tear to my eye reading some of these stories and relating to some of them, people can be so cruel at times and don't realise how deep the comments can cut....the way I figure it is people who talk behind your back are cowards and not worth wasting time on.....people should be free and allowed to be who they want to be, without the worries of what people will think. Some people can be so judgemental, sometimes ignorant because they don't understand....or don't want to. Love to everyone here on DPF, nice to have such a kind community!!! Xxxxxxx

I don't think there is any difference with calling your pins sexy and a grown women, mom as myself acting like a giddy school girl over the first time I met Snow White. Or like my husband said, you should see you when you find a pin you have been looking for." At that point I don't care what people think. I love anything Disney and that it that.

But I admit in real life. I wish I had more self love, and didn't care as much what other think. That wasn't easy to say.
 
Hey Prince Eric! Ive never spoken to you on this forum, but today is the day I often would read your posts on the tread here, and I always thought you were a very kind, sweet guy. I think LK pins are kinda sexy, so its all good lol! Hope we can talk more here, as Id like to have another friend on the forum. Hope to talk to you soon buddy

Thank you for teaching me the true meaning of kindness, and thank you for teaching me what it means to be heard & valued. Its not Pins that make me happy, But all of you who believe in me and I am just a human being like the rest. I just want to bring happiness to all I don't care about attaining all the pins in the world, but creating magic and happiness for others. I celebrate all of you. Love is a Human Right!
