Collections You Gave Up On?
I have given up on two major collections, neither of which bother me too much except that I could have put energy/money/time into what is my core collection groups instead.

Beloved tales - had most of them up to a certain point (UP) and became too disheartened trying to trade for the few I did not have (TLM BATB) - their prices did crazy things as well. They went to other homes, and I do not miss them - though I do still admire how beautiful they are in person

Jessica - she is depressing. Again I couldn't trade for anything worthwhile and she was an expensive habit. Between looking at my "could-be" collection (trades that I couldn't do because I had her or purchases that the money could have gone to another grail of a different collection), and dealing with some family illness she ended up neatly "divorced". No hard feelings, and eagerly awaiting watching her on blu-ray very soon

I just gave up on The Lion King and I have also decided to not be a completest for UP. There is no reason to spend so much money when a majority of the UP pins are the Grape sodas haha. How many are there now? 8? haha jk

I gave up collecting TinkerBell, Jessica Rabbit, the Blue Fairy, and Maleficent.

I gave up on Beloved Tales and the Reveal/Conceal disney girls pins.
I'm giving up on beloved tales, gave up on stitch, and giving up being a completionist, yeay me! I also decided to only collect three princesses, ariele, Belle, and Rapunzel. With Rapunzel, I'm not sure since I don't think I'll ever be fortunate enough to own a designer Rapunzel, since the cost has gone up so much lately.

I wouldn't say I gave up on Jessica rabbit. I'm just real picky about what pins I absolutely love with her on them. It's just she's so hard to collect for in general.

when I first started years ago it was anything I could get my hands on, so that started me with lots of collections, but I am not a completionist so I never worry about getting every pin, snow white and chip and dale along with winnie the pooh were the first one's I started collecting, have never given up on SW or C&D, but could care less about winnie the pooh, I have a whole pin bag full of them, I should see if anyone is interested in winnie the pooh.
