I was really trying to avoid this. This weekend has been a mess (as we all know) and I made a terrible decision that I've been mulling over for about a week that I want to start collecting only my very favorite Ariel pins. Now, I know the ones I want are grail of all grails so I decided to just put them on and wait years for them, I didn't really care, I'm a patient person ^_^ BUT the pin that made me decide this finally, was this beauty:

The answer is probably...yes...you have :lol: I'm not saying this is the MOST wonderful pin in the world, but I would be darned if it didn't rank in the Top 50 (at least for me) in existence.

Anyways, considering the resale prices of this pin on Ebay from D23, I cannot and will not pay $200 for it. That is absolutely ridiculous. I understand many people did not get the pins they wanted (Designer) but that doesn't have to mean that we have to force this pin to inflate to make up for the lack of Designer pins :(

It is still going to be released in the UK on the 20th. Only 100 will be online and it will be $40 (25 pounds) but if ANYONE can nab one there, PLEASE let me know. I am just sitting here in NJ...really pissed over this terrible D23 weekend (pin-wise, I'm not letting pins bring my life into turmoil, despite if that's already partially happened).

I know we'll find it doodlebug. This pin is quite odd, there doesn't seem to be too much commotion over it given only the 2 of us seem to really be pushing to find the pin and yet, its price has skyrocketed and its worth is very high right now. I think the pin will calm down but I'm hoping we can both get it for a fair deal, a deal that an LE300 pin is worth :lol:
 
Good luck sugar, that is an AWESOME pin!! One of the few LM pins that I really wanted myself and one more HUGE disappointment that it was sold at D23 instead of online for all of us out of area collectors :(

Thanks Molly! It's sad because I swore my current signature would contain my last grails for awhile, but ever since deciding on picking my favorite Ariels, I'm contemplating ranking this one there (out of all the Ariel pins I don't have, which is all of them but 1 :lol: this one ranks VERY highly...thank heavens it ain't LE100 O_o)

The price has been nuts! I mean.. I get it, it's a pretty pin, but I had hoped it would pass by unnoticed with the designer couples out. I could see the price tag if it was a total LE of 100 or something. But I could pay that price and get one of the original designer princesses. If I was gonna shell out that kinda cash, the designer princesses would win hands down. It still took them almost 2 years to hit those prices.

Anyways, since it now seems likely that 50 of this pin will be coming to the US, if anyone can please help me out by at least trying for the release, I would gladly pay you back. I'm so nervous that it'll sell out before I can get one and I know it'll be really bad >_<

I didn't know they had 2 different sites...if that's the case, it's much more fair to EU in general, but ugh...then that makes it impossible for me to get a pin by myself :(
