Hello DPF,

This set has four days left and is already at $2,025. WOW:shock:! It is considered one of the rarest DA sets out there, but do you think it is worth it?
I am pretty sure all the bids in there are real considering one alone can sell for $300-$400.

Just wanted to mention it.

Thanks,
Erik

First of all, don't think your allowed to link. Also, I don't see the crazy price. Crazy low maybe? Price is very reasonable for the set. Especially compared to some recent Rapunzel sale prices....

That's cool. I have all of the Villains except Maleficent with an extra hag. Bought them directly from Disney Auction. I actually like the Villains better than the princesses.

I have seen people post links before but I will take it down. I somewhat agree with you. Since each pin does go for about $400, if there are six in the set the set would be worth $2,400. So in theory I guess it is low. But with four days left it seems like a lot for the set. But you make a solid point.

I had e-mailed the seller to ask if there was a BIN on them when I first saw the auction. The seller had set BIN at $600, some really smart person decided to place the opening bid of $199. That full set was a bargain at $600, now it is out of reach forever

I got an infraction warning for posting a link last week lol.

I clicked on the link LITERALLY seconds after someone placed an opening bid of $199.

Awwww ... this is hearbreaking. Who would do such a silly thing? The same person later went and bid $600 looking at bid history. Ugh ....

That...makes me sick to my stomach, actually. Wow.

Of course, a seller with that little feedback makes me nervous, too. But still- it hurts.

 Jeez... idk too much about that set but I know it's worth alot/is rare... but idk if it's worth over $2K...

$600 does sound like a great price! Sheesh... I wonder what that person was thinking trying to bid on it instead of just outright purchasing it....

AWW!!?!!! I'm sorry to hear that Meg *really sad panda*

I know, right ?? Right ??

Oh, where is that annoying girl's meme when I need it? The over-zealous girlfriend one. That one would be perfect here

I'm assuming the person didn't know how much the pins were worth. They probably assumed $600 was really high for the pins instead of a steal.

Hmmm, it is a little suspicious If it was someone putting up a relative's collection, they would probably use photos, not Pinpics stock (you would think). That many super rare sets on an unknown seller makes me side-eye it pretty hard.

On the other hand, there could be any number of reasons as to why they're suddenly selling, and it's totally legit. If they all are completely legit pins (and the buyers actually get them), congrats to them on scoring some sweet deals!

Considering the original price was $250 and I bet they got it from there, even selling it for $350 profit is a good amount of profit imo even if the set CAN sell for thousands so if I were the seller, I'd feel dumb for not putting the BIN higher but I wouldn't be disappointed in the slightest ^_^

As for the first bidder, I have a strong feeling that they put the $200 bid in hopes that nobody in the world would ever see that auction and they'd win it for 1/3 the BIN price. However, I bet they are rolling around backwards now that they see how high the bid is, sucks that they didn't buy it in the first place

P.S. Even though the seller has low feedback, on a purchase this big, I cannot see Ebay Buyer Protection not helping out the buyer if the seller is faking have the set.
