Disney Store Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion - 2017
Had no problems at the store today. I went to the same location that I got Moana from, and again, I was the only one there. I'm thinking that it's not widely known that they're selling the LE dolls at that particular location yet (which is good for me). Better still, I even got to pick out which doll I wanted for the very first time!!! I have a feeling I'll be going to this location more often.

I'll post pics of Belle and Moana sometime this weekend.
 
I also had no problem getting her this morning. I had plans to go to the store sometime between 6 and 7; but after staying up late for the Platinum set, I left around 9, and I got to the mall at 9:30. I was not too worried about leaving too early since they were still available online next day. The other reason I thought I might have to be there early is if they were having a surprise release. I'm sad there weren't any, but my wallet is grateful. I have invested quite a bit in this amazing movie merchandise.

There were only 4 people ahead of me, and the store had gotten in 24 dolls. So a very low key, and quite experience today. I'm happy she was so much prettier in person, I think she might be my new favorite.
 
I bought this new LA belle a week after the red moana lol. I didnt plan to buy her at all but when i saw her in person i fell in love lol. Shes my first LE live action doll. I literally have no room for another doll. I hope i wont like the next dolls because it seem my husband wants to buy all dolls that gets released lol
 
My husband is a true keeper. I did not feel good yesterday morning when he called to wake me up to go to the DS. He works overnight. I told him, eh, I'm not going. I didn't feel well and had the fashion dolls. I fell back to sleep and woke up at 9:30. My husband was not home yet and I was getting worried as he was not answering his phone.
He called at 10:10 and said I'll be home in 20 minutes and that something had come up at work. When he walked in he was carrying a huge Disney bag. I said you have to be kidding me. He went from work and drove an hour and was first in line. I cried, I couldn't believe he did that. I think Disney did a good job on the 17" and I love her. I love my husband even more.

I had no problem getting Belle on Friday. Was first in line got there at 8:00am by the time the store opened there were only 3-4 others in line my store only got 9 dolls. She's gorgeous in person so much better than what was shown. So now that beauty and the beast is over with do we know any of the other LE dolls planned for release this year? Pirates? Not sure what the fall release is this year anyone have any clue. I'd love an LE jack sparrow one even a film collection one.
 
BATB Prince and Belle Set

Hi, has anyone that ordered this set on the U.S. site received a shipping confirmation? I have heard of cancellation emails but no shipping confirmations and my order is currently in limbo! I am dying to know if it is going to be cancelled or shipped!
 
Sadly, I don't know anything I was just hoping for photos but if they got cancelled... I don't have much hope
But it is available on the UK site, you can try that, too. (At least I can add it to my bag/shopping cart) Some people got the Alice set from there if I remember correctly.
 
Lots of people reported getting their blast off emails today - I got mine at 12:02. If you still haven't gotten yours tomorrow, it may be cause for concern.
 
I went to my Disney Store. I was the second of three people to buy Belle. I also got Moana.

I didn’t inspect the boxes!!! What was I thinking?!

When I got home, Moana had a dink on an edge and the back of Belle was creased outrageously. I called up and took them back the next day. They had a Belle, so that was covered. As for Moana, the only one they had there had a broken oar--but the “lid†of the box was good, so we changed lids.

I “opened†the Store both days! I never got to do that before. TWO KEYS!!

I was wondering what do you think the chances are that we would get some pirates dolls and maybe an LE Jack Sparrow? Since this is the last pirates film and the rides 50th anniversary

Considering that its the anniversary, along with the new movie being "the beginning of the final adventure" according to that one trailer, AND the huge fanbase for the Pirates movies, I think there is a good chance that we will at the very least get film collection dolls. I remember Lone Ranger got some (which was basically PotC in the west anyways), so it would be really weird if we didn't at least get those while The Lone Ranger did. I would LOVE a 17" LE Jack Sparrow though without a doubt though!
 

Well the Pirates merchandise is up on Disneys website and so far no Film Collection dolls. At this point I doubt we will get any from this pirates film. A huge missed opportunity but what can you do. At least Hot toys is making more pirates figures

I just checked, and the merch offering for PotC 5 is quite disappointing when compared with the abundance of merch for the past few movies.

Yeah I seen that earlier this morning. Honestly I doubt this is EVERYTHING we will be getting, but it is really disappointing how little there is when compared to all of the stuff that previous live action films have gotten. I am still going to hope that we get those dolls.
 
I still had the receipts for the horrid fashion dolls from BATB. I returned them and it was not a problem.
I thought Gaston/Belle and Belle/Beast would grow on me, but the more I looked at them, the worse it got. LOL... I liked Beast, but couldn't have him without a Belle. So back they all went.
I'm very satisfied with my LA 17" Belle and didn't need the others.
I found someone on the doll forum selling the first Moana for $120.00 with shipping. I wanted the Moana with the pig & rooster. And the fact that she was in that outfit through most of the movie. I bought her as I loved the movie. Turns out she is number 309 out of 6500. And although Disney artists could have done a better job on her face painting. I still think she is cute.
Disney is really missing out by not doing a Jack Sparrow. My step daughter absolutely loves him and I'd had tried to buy 2. One for her and one for myself.
I heard the D23 doll is going to be Snow White again. I don't know how true this is.
 
I read somewhere a rumor that there might be a new Rapunzel (for the series I assume), does anybody know somathing about that?

I can't confirm that it's real or not, but many doll members in my Facebook group have called numerous different Disney Stores, and many cast members have told them that an LE Rapunzel doll based off her TV show appearance is happening. There really aren't any more details besides that. No idea on when she will release or what her price will be or anything.
