Another Disney Store Pin Release enquiry!

So I have purchased the other two releases today at around 9.15 however when I went to purchase Emporers New Groove I had it in my basket but it was taken out, so might have sold out, though the pin still looks like its available to purhase over an hour later but when you go to purchase the message: The product you have selected cannot be purchased at this time.

Has other people got hold of it, if it is sold out has anybody got it to trade as I was so excited about that particular pin as there aren't too many emporers new groove pins and I collect then, so rather gutted at the moment.

I don't seem to be having much luck with purchasing pins from disney store so not sure if its is a computer error or it is genuinly sold out.

I just tried addong it to my basket just to see so I could comment but yes mine did the same thing. most likely it could be sold out
 
That's not good. I haven't ordered anything this morning but if Danny has tried now, I would imagine that it is sold out.

contact customer services and say that you were online at 9 and tried to place the order and it wouldn't work. They might able to help you. Hope you can get it
 
As I kinda suspected the pin was sold out, gutted. I knew it would go quickly, but not that quickly, I would have given it 30mins to sell out.
 
I had sent an enquiry to the Disney Store to find out, they just haven't taken it down yet which I think is a bit misleading considering it was seemingly sold out over two hours ago, never mind.

If its taken out of your basket it's probably sold out... The message that appears happened on the gondola realease when it sold out and tink on an ink well... We got ours at 8.55 ... Good luck to all
 
Out of all the pins being released today, this is the only one that I really had my eye on.

Ahhh, its still there but I can't purchase it. I thought they'd take it off the site if its sold out. o_o
 
I was trying from 9am and kept getting a cannot purchase at this time message pretty gutted as I only wanted one for a DPF member!! Wish they would sort out their website!!
 
This is why I originally stopped collecting Disney MBBP. It ceases to be fun and they can't even be bothered to update their website. Shameful. I travel to work between 9 and 10am so had no chance at all to even try to get them.
 
please do not go and complain to disney as we finally got an le150 back as well as a set plus an le500 all on ONE release, this could have been a test to see how it would go so do not complain or else we may be stuck with website warmers forever. we need lower LE's to actually trade for something decent.
 
I got 2 and confirmation at 9.05am. Hopefully they deliver them and don't reduce orders like they did for the gondola pin.
 
Can someone explain to me how an LE150 from a not particularly popular film sells out in under 30 minutes, but an LE350 from Mary Poppins is still on sale months later. It's still not that many more pins in the whole scheme of things.

Surely just making 150 is making it an immediate target for the counterfeiters?
 

I would say Emperor's new groove is more popular than Mary Poppins. Mary Poppin pins are just not that nice looking and is not animated but thats just my opinion. So to say that its still sat there weeks after when there are alot other pins from before Mary Poppins that are still there, it's not the pin itself that's the problem it is the LE size. When all the other UK pins were LE150 they would go just as quick like today so if you were not around for them ones then dont judge just off this one release. Low edition sizes will go quicker more so than any others as everyone would get their max if 2 so only really leaves 75 orders and that could be people selling on ebay, getting them as traders, or for themselves or helping out other people across the pond.

Sorry but I did have a giggle at your comment regarding the LE size making it a potential scrapper target as why with this one when we have had alot more popular designs than the Kuzco pin and same edition size...
 
it was way less than 30 mins. I guess by 9.06 they were all gone. I tried for a 2nd order and it failed at 9.07 ! Someone posted that they got them at 8.55 which is unusual for DS UK as it is usually after 9 before they appear as available.

LE 150 is always going to sell out fast as lots of collectors like the low LE's and it becomes a very useful trader for us in the UK in trying to get a low LE from the US. I got 2 at 9.05 and both are for trading as it is not a film I collect.
 
Just seconding someone's comment about NOT complaining to Disney about this, after all a lot of people complained around April time this year (and before that too, I'm sure), and up until now we've had nothing under LE 300, with almost every single pin released since April still on DS.co.uk... I can just remember how many people took their comments to Disney's facebook page, it certainly got ugly! :lol:

Anyways, just my 2 cents (pence?)- happy trading everyone! <3
