I don't have a thing to do with this, but know how frustrating it is to have this much stress when placing an order. I have friends in Europe that were very upset over the 2 per household, guest, IP address or whatever it was said to be. I was telling my friends from Europe that last week I bought items from the local Disney Store and decided to read the return policy. It was a long one and many items were listed as not being able to be returned. I noticed they specifically mentioned "pin trading pins," worded just like that, and did not mention vinylmations, which are also tradable, as items that cannot be returned. At first I thought, why mention pins specifically and not vinylmations? Odd, right? Also not everyone that buys pins trades, so does that mean they cannot return a pin if their child does not like it or if there is something wrong with it? Then I kept reading only to find out that Disney states something none of us can do a thing about in the end. It stated that they can change their policy on anything, anytime, anywhere, meaning they can do anything they want and do not have to grant you 2 per guest if they don't feel like it. And they can tell anyone an item is not returnable at any time, based on this too. They cover their behinds in all kinds of ways, so we cannot really fight them. What we can do is complain and not buy. This will never help, because no matter how many people stop buying, some others will start. It may however, let them see that they are going to lose customers. I am not sure they care though.

I totally agree that they need to fix their site so that it can handle volume. The US site is equally as bad. Why on earth they cannot get decent software plagues me.

Good luck to all of you that are hoping to get this beautiful pin!

The crashing problems have been going on for months. I can only assume you have never had anyone trying for the really popular stuff. Like anastasia has been saying this is complete rubbish.

It's been that bad that I had twice "thank you for your order" e-mails along with Paypal charges, but they never found the order in their systems because "it must have got lost because the system was so busy."

Yes, I have tried six times overall. 5 orders from the same computer, one from boyfriend's mom. Why? First try hung up at the address confirmation. Second hung up in the Paypal confirmation screen. Third told me my Paypal payment was denied. Fourth and fifth told me my credit card payment was denied. Rang boyfriend's mom, she tried with her card and got a payment confirmation on screen (her order number was 1200 higher than the one I eventually got by the way), but no e-mail ever showed up and she is not in the system again according to Disney Store.

Finally I had two e-mails for the hung up Paypal order and the supposedly denied one showing up after ten minutes.

So according to your logic I should be punished and lose all pins because Disney can't get stuff straight with their software? No, let me correct that. According to your logic I should have stopped after the first try and just prayed. Would you have done that if you even had orders denied with an order number?

All I wanted was one order through. If I had got more than one order in I would have given the pins to friends in the US just like some other posters had planned to do it - the list of friends that asked me to help was as long as my arm too, but I warned all of them that it was probably not going to work out, simply due to demand.

I find it kind of funny Tinker: you are insisting you are only helping your friends. But at the same time you are accusing everyone else who tried to get more than one order in for one reason or the other of "greed."

Disney confirmed that I have supposedly one order safe and everything else would be canceled meanwhile, which was all I was realistically aiming for: one order through. Thankfully they have apparently been leaving room for legitimate errors - I know I was not the only one with this problem. If I was mean I could say "They are suddenly enforcing a rule that was never enforced or even put in writing anywhere before. They can't cancel all double orders accidental or not, or the backlash would be even worse."

I was hoping I could help out some friends, but thankfully they have been very understanding that it wasn't possible.

If the CM was really "laughing at the greed" that's insanely bad customer service. We have all been complaining long enough to give them the chance to do something about their crap software, and THEY don't care. But of course it's the traders' fault that we all tried to order!

Yes, it has always been two per order online. I have done the same with the last Rapunzel release and helped out a friend.

The US site DS.com even says exactly that "limited to two pins per order".

The UK site didn't phrase it that exactly, but they have always handled it that way.

At the parks I've sometimes seen the two per pin limit enforced for the more popular releases, and DSF seemed to enforce the 1 per person per LE 150 and 2 per person for LE 300 a lo in November. But even then only DSF ever stopped people from lining up again. POMH anyone?

I wasn't at D23, but I've heard that limits were enforced there. But even then according to what I have been told they did let people line up twice.Friends got in line again to get things they didn't realize had actually been released.

Tinker, it does look that you are just taking what the CM told your friend as a given fact, although UK traders are telling you that it has not been handled that way.

This is why Anastasia was "coming at you" and why she tried to explain the reality to you. Why do you always take this as personal attacks? It's a shame that you even tell her you are not interested in that "long explanation."

You should have got a hint from the last few UK releases us European traders were griping about here that this is an ongoing problem with the Disney website. It's Disney trying to cover their butt again and put the blame on the traders.

Vala I have been in the same boat but thankfully got at least one of ther orde3rs coming. Thi is getting silly and frankly anyone who asked me pre release I explained that I wouldnt commit util I knew I oculd get an order. Frankly I just wish they went back to trealistic size releases the pins still traded and we didnt have all this hastle. Heaven help me I have two disneys tores within an eight mile distance and neither one does pins I cant commit to travelling into london to maybe or not get pins.
As far as I am cocnerned what people do is their own business sell trade keep I dont think anyone has the right to criticise I do all three and will continue to do so. I admit sometimes I offer things here at a lower rate than I would offer elsewhere and thats to support the forum I am doing it at the moment. Sorry people but selling pins enables me to buy more pins nothing more nothing less no one can run a business form this!

Okay I am not going to start an argument or anything but I would just like to say this :

Once in a blue moon we in the UK get a pin, a reallyreallyreaaaaalllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy good pin that we can use to trade and doesn't cost us a squidgillion dollers because we are 'across the pond'. Those of us who can't afford to go to disneyland/world/paris/ds.com rely on the pins we get over here to trade to people in the states for our wants. I feel guilty because I have had to say NO to people and it's not fair. We only get a few pins a month not 20 - 50 pins a month and this is the first pin since jasmine that has been an omg want by everyone his uncle and his best mates dog.

Yes disney is a pain in the butt, the online thing, the 4 pins in the whole store thing. They super suck, but attacking each other over these pins is doing no one any good. Complain to disney, not each other and just grit your teeth about the ebay sellers. We are in a hobby which costs money and if you really want something you have to spend it, the secondary market is not Disneys fault that, by and large, is OUR fault for pushing the price of this pin (and others) through the roof because of their popularity.

Short and long of this little blurb here is this stop arguing with each other, log a complaint to disney and if you want the pin that badly buy it on the secondary market, just, unfortunately, expect to buy it at a silly price.

Well said.

And now... CAKE!

After all this frustration and unknown, if anyone ends up with a pin they would like to trade, pls keep me in mind.

Pretty please with a cherry on top

York store is also sold out I got the last two! And the rest of the stock they were sent is now being shipped back to forfill the online orders!! It's a joke but I am glad I managed to get one for me and a friend!

any chance of a picture so we can all see if all the fuss is actually worth it? My online order also didn't go through, no confirmation email or anything and when I called they found two payments had gone through on my card but no actual order, don't think that I shall be bothering again after all this trouble! (I wish I could stick to that but once they bring out a neat Ariel or Belle pin it'll be back into the fray for me!!)

Well Said ! I'm not even going to explain myself to Vala . Been there, done that and if what I repeated is not believed, then nothing more I can say . Not my problem, theirs !!!! Now let us eat cake and be merry . LOL

I was in the Liverpool Store on Thursday 19th and they had 7 Tangled pins on display hidden behind 1 Maleficent, I tried to buy 4 to help people on this site to get one (at no additional cost!) but when they tried to scan it came up with Do not sell until Saturday.

I was lucky and placed my order on Friday online (with no problems at all) so we will see if it arrives!

Wonderful! I know in Southampton, the pins are sealed up in a bag with the documents telling them when they go on sale, so it makes it a bit difficult to not notice whether they are/aren't allowed to be sold

Also, my order arrived this morning, and did indeed get 2. I just hope they don't get this strict on traders again, since me and Fi will never be able to order an extra pin for trading again, especially when they think we're the same person.

Just had a confirmation from NOT only Disney but also the couriers that my order is due to be delivered this afternoon between 2 & 5pm - will wait & see what arrives when I get home tonight, hopefully it'll be 2 of the pins!

For some reason they had me down for 2 orders (a glitch their end which they accept & is the reason behind two payments being taken) - the bogus order has been cancelled & I should receive the refund tomorrow

Haha thanks so much. I feel like a bozo for not checking back It is actually way better than I thought it would be. Thank you for the pic!!!
