Totally agree! I don't care which number it says, i only want a perfect and beautiful doll for my collection.

Thank you for sharing the harrods set, looking forward to hearing some news about them! And maybe some comparisons, too.

No probs , me too I am hoping to see some soon!

UPDATE EVERYONE! Now have word that they have only sold out of today's stock so they will be getting some more in, for anyone who is a completist! I know Polaris has most if not all does he know? He may want to see if can nab some as well as few others! X

Where is my purple Aurora? Or a colour splash with blue and pink? That's an exclusive, not the same dolls with a few more GLUED gems whacked on a couple more panels! Or a 17inch Briar Rose.

Okay. I've gotten tons of messages about this so let me fix this.
I am LOOKING for an ariel 17inch. It's the last I need before I can pretty much give up on 17inch dolls.
In my hands now, I have an AURORA for trade. PINK. AURORA.

I just got an email last night that my blue Aurora shipped..hurray! Can't wait to get it...your guys photos of her are sooooo nice

The first thing I thought when I saw that there's a Harrods set is wth??? First, they confirm there will be no Harrods set because the Frozen Harrods set was to celebrate store opening. And then we were all wondering where the stock photo came from and how both the pink and blue looked different from the stock (I'm mostly disappointed in the blue just because I thought we'd be getting a slight variation with pink). I mean not that I can afford $800 dolls and for some extra gems, I just don't appreciate the false advertising all over. And are we to expect special Harrods set for all future releases now?? Where's the love?

This makes me so angry, what is the point? £500 for a few more embellishments? Not worth it. Only thing I liked was Elsa's pearly skin tone, but it didn't make sense for the doll.

Got my blue Aurora - she is perfect.

It seems like Disney is hellbent on making the collecting experience worse for everyone.
Good Job DisneyStore.
Once again, $800 for a doll is so completely unfair because once again, these dolls are worth $100. Just like the Frozen set, we, the collectors, are deprived from the highest quality because of Disney's greed. The LE harrods Elsa, with the embellished cape and sleeve should have been the regular Elsa, but instead we got a sloppy half-assed cape. And now the same with Aurora. What was supposed to be the regular one became $800.
What's worse is that these are only available in the UK. I strongly think that Disney should release them in a store like Nordstrom or Bloomingdales... Something to mirror in the US. I, personally, wouldn't buy this set, but I know a lot of people who want to buy them.

Honestly... I am sick to my stomach with the DisneyStore. They are doing everything they can to push their customers away and break their trust and loyalty. Talk about a company whose belief is based on creating a good relationship with their customers.
Losing the Blue Aurora that they shipped will be the final straw the breaks the camel's back for me. So let's hope that doesn't happen.

Do you realy care?! I don't. Got what I wanted and that's it. They can release whatever they want now and I won't care.

It's not about getting what YOU want, it's about what's fair as a whole.
Like I mentioned... The snow queen Elsa that was released to the DisneyStore was severely lacking in the details department. So to see them ask $300 extra dollars for something that was supposed to be $100 pissed me off.

Further more, advertising Blue Aurora to be different from the Pink and then releasing them as a harrods LE set is also completely unfair and misleading.

Good to know you don't care if the company you shop at has shady practices, so long as you get what you want :|

Personally, I'm mad about the false advertising, that the blue Aurora we were told we'd get was actually the Harrods set, and how they pretty much did this entire thing underhandedly. They shot down rumors, and then went and sold them. I didn't even know this was going on until I came on here this morning.

Plus, it's virtually impossible for American collectors to get this set. Or anyone outside of the UK, really.

I am beyond ticked off at this Harrod's revelation. Not only is it sickening that once again the ultimate version is beyond reach for any sane collector not swimming in dough, but with the added insult that this was the doll that they advertised for weeks and than switched out on release day. I even said the whole thing felt like advertising the Nov. Frozen dolls with their Harrod's counterparts and that turns out to be exactly what they did. This is a slap in the face to fans and collectors alike.

By the way, anyone else catch the mention of gems on the sleeves on the box of blue Aurora? Suggests to me along with the promo pics that the Harrod's set might have been a last minute idea.

No one says that you should be happy about not being able to afford the set, but it seems like all that you wrote when you bought the dolls was false. I remeber almost everyone saying how they like toned-down blue Aurora. I'm not saying they did the right thing but that's the world we live in. Also some of you went for it even when we already knew she's not as shown in pics, so stop wasting your time with what you don't have and start enjoying what you do.

^ someone seems a little bit of a negative Nancy over here.

Most of us are pretty PO'ed because it was false advertising up the wazoo, pulling the wool over our eyes and then the Harrods set happened.

As well as the insane price jump for a few more gems and a few extra panels and a different (not even that pretty) box.

It's not JUST that we can't afford the set, it's that we can't even attempt it. at all. We had no chance. And it bothered a lot of us. As well, we got the toned down, version of both dolls. Which isn't really fair in my eyes. I feel like we got the cheaper set both literally and metaphorically.

Best example is snow queen elsa vs the harrods version.

I don't understand why the harrod's set is so expensive. Because it is limited to 100? If they had some real jewellry (like swarovski) and the gowns were made with real gold or silver i would understand the price. Everything else is not worth it. Not even the box itself is pretty in my opinion. I am totally satisfied with my "normal" pink Aurora.

you and me both, I love my Pink Aurora.

I'm not happy about the Harrods set but I can easily live without it because it's just an insane price for what they are bringing to those dolls.

I personally don't care for the extra gems but the extra panel and the different material/velvet would've been nice but definitely not worth the huge price jump.

I think I'm just pissed because of the whole idea of telling us Frozen Harrods was a one-off thing and then turn around and do something else. AND the fact that they've provided us false stock photos and giving us something different. I would've been completely fine if they had provided the true stock photo and do the Harrods set separately.

Yes, i don't need this harrod's set either. Retail price is very high, but ebay prices will be crazy for them.

You're right, it's awful how Disney advertised these dolls and promised that the Frozen Set will be the only one. But well, they are just seeing $$$ and everybody will pay for them - doesn't matter if Disney advertised them wrong or right or even said a word. They will get their cash, that's everything they want.

Okay, guys, is this really that big a deal? Everyone's getting so butthurt over molded plastic and fabric. You either buy them or you don't. These aren't different enough from the main pair to constitute needing them for completion. Disney can release whatever they want. We also have the power of buying whatever we want. I didn't like the Frozen set or this set, but since Aladdin is one of my faves, I'd be excited to see a set for them next year. People get really bent over toys that are supposed to bring them joy. I seriously don't understand where all this anger comes from...
