My Aurora, Phillip, and Maleficent are out for delivery, I hope all is well...these were on two separate orders, 3 tracking numbers but DS combined them into one package

Thanks! :) They are my first 17-inch doll and I'm glad the experience to purchase them in store had been great! Met fellow collectors so it was definitely nice to hear about their past experiences. I'm saving up to get other past releases but my wallets begging me to stop for a while.lol
 
I wonder how people have the self resistance to leave the dolls in their boxes. I have no self resistance whatsoever lol! I debox my dolls because I can't really enjoy them in their box, and aurora's factory pose wasn't really helping, I might rebox her when I feel like having her in the box.

Thats how I felt! Lol, I deboxed aurora because I knew I wasn't enjoying her that way, although the box is gorgeous I won't be throwing it away. I can always rebox aurora if I want to.
 
I think they look a lot better boxed imo. Any I have unboxed, I have always regretted it so I always keep them boxed. Sometimes I might slightly adjust their pose without deboxing anything. Thankfully all the Sleeping beauty dolls were posed beautifully. But I like seeing others deboxed pictures.

Yes, I am in the US. My bank account has now been charged and my status was changed, I should be getting the doll on Monday !! :D
 
As always the service of the disney store saves my day.
Some might remember that my Aurora doll was sent to Denmark without my consent (she was to be sent to Japan) because their system keeps selecting random delivery addresses from my address book long after the order have been made (I checked my order regularly, because the address change has been an issue several times) and in the last moment they changed it to Denmark and shipped her.
Now I have just paid a bill to UPS for custom charges.
That mistake made by disney cost me 55 USD! 55 USD!!!! and I didn't want Aurora to be in Denmark in the first place because I can't bring her with me as things are now.

My Phillip just arrived and wow, he looks pretty good! The face looks so much more appealing than led to believe in the promo pics...still not screen accurate, but it gets a pass. I was planning on unboxing him but I don't know if I can now, seeing how impressive the packaging is. He's my first LE doll and I may continue to collect the fellas but these boxes are HUGE and will definitely require a lot of space to store.
 
With all the craziness of lost dolls, I think ups may have lost mine. I have tracked my package and it has not departed a location in more than 2 days. It was set to arrive on Monday. Ugh

One of my dolls didn't get an updated scan for 4 days, but it still arrived yesterday on its' planned delivery date. I wouldn't worry, yet.
 
Now that all the sleeping beauty dolls are released we have next to look forward to.. big Hero six and Frozen Dolls for the short. Both are just rumours but it got me thinking, if they do dolls for Frozen then they are defiantly going to do Elsa again. But will they just do her in the ice dress again? Maybe she will have a new outfit in the short? But I doubt it, seeing has at the end of the movie Anna changes but Elsa wears the same thing and even in once upon a time Elsa has the same dress on in every episode. So how would that work if they were to do her again in her ice dress? Maybe they could add more embellishments and improve the Cape. I always wished the Cape was more translucent in the original SQ Elsa so maybe of they did a improved Cape, more gems etc then it could warrant another SQ Elsa? It would make many people happy who wasn't lucky enough to be one of 2500 the first time.

I actually think maybe they will do a two pack with Elsa in her SQ dress and I would imagine Anna will get a new dress. And then maybe they will do Kristoff as well.

I am definitely worrying since this has never happened with any ups shipment I've had. Even the scheduled date when from Monday to now it is unknown.
 
All my sleeping beauty 17 dolls came yesterday except Phillip....he was supposed to come but for some reason he is delayed till Monday:/ My blue Aurora ornament came as well...and let me add, that I was not a fan of how Maleficent looked in her stock photos but when I got her yesterday and opened her box, I was floored by how gorgeous she is!!!!!!!! I'm very happy that I got her

as much as i'd love to get another chance to own a LE SQ elsa (at retail price), i feel like this might piss a lot of people off.
in no way saying i'm against it though.
 
I think they can easily make a new SQ Elsa. All they'd have to do is just change her smile or facial features and call her a brand new LE doll.
It kinds sucks for the people who spent thousands on the first release.

Yes I agree, I really think they will do her again. Elsa is so popular and so many missed out on the first SQ one. I suppose it all depends on if they change her outfit in the new short.I think she will still be in the same dress in the short. If they do her in the SQ dress then I'm sure they can change it enough to warrant a new doll.
 
I really doubt they will re-release SQ Elsa at this point. Remember their goal is to make the most money possible. Rereleasing SQ at this point not only pisses off the 2500 ppl who own her, it means those ppl won't buy her either. I suspect they will both get summer outfits with a huge edition size like Wedding Rapynzel did.
 
But Disney seem to annoy people with every release regardless lol and if they want to make the most money then another SQ Elsa is the way to go. I just don't see them changing Elsa's outfit in the short. Why did Anna get a new dress at the end of Frozen? But yet Elsa had the same on and again in once upon a time Elsa is wearing the same dress every episode. Be very surprised if they give her a new dress.
I don't see why they can't do her again as long as it's different. Look at Snow White. aurora, Rapunzel etc their LE dolls are based on there iconic outfits but yet they look nothing like them as they are inspired by the original and glammed up.
The first SQ Elsa was very movie accurate, maybe they could do her Sq dress again but this time make it less movie accurate and take different inspiration and change it up like they did with Snow White.
