I think it's going to depend on where your store is located. I won't be planning to arrive until close to an hour before the store opens now, since the mall security will just throw people out before then.

EDIT: I think I just figured out what the thing is with the mall. ISIS threaten the Mall of America in Minnesota last week, so I guess the malls are taking extra precautions.

For my store, last release (Aurora), I arrived around 7:30. At my old store, I usually arrived at 8 and was first in line. There were three people before me at my new store. My mall opens it's doors at 6 A.M.
I definitely think its a mall-to-mall, experience-to-experience thing. Have you been to a release at this store before? I would gauge my time based on that experience. Personally, if I were allowed to stand in line, I would be there at 6 A.M. I would rather sit for an extra half an hour/hour than risk missing out on one or all, you know? I'm not saying camp out lol but I would go at my earliest convenience. Its kind of fun to be first, anyway! The store people give you the crazy eye when they see that you've been sitting there for hours! Lol.
 
Aaargh, no! I'm outside Oxford Street now, and there is maybe 20 people or so in front of me.
I might get a doll if I'm lucky, they had something between 10 and 15 last year if I remember correctly. Crossing my fingers they have more now ;-;
 
I'm on my computer and phone atm, my mum is going to help when she wakes up in a bit, I'm trying to get Anna, she's trying to get Elsa!
 
Lol, yeah I don't get time, clocks going forward, clocks going back, I don't get it! I'm so happy now everything just changes by itself! All I know is that it's 7:15 now and it doesn't come on till 8, wish it was now, I want to go back to sleep!

Yes, I did. I didn't dare to try to get them online. And I can get to London quite cheap so with shipping and import taxes I end up paying about the same :')
So far yes, they have 50 of each and we are 40 or something I guess :)
