DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion
I am very anxious to see pictures of what each doll will look like in their box. I have never taken any of my LE dolls out of their box, but I love seeing everyone's photos when they do! I just love the artwork in the background of all of the boxes as well, which is why I don't take them out. (Breath) Only a couple days left I guess! I am starting to love Elsa more and more. I just love the color of her shirt under her jacket, it is very pretty. Kristoff isn't too impressive to me, so I am still undecided . . . until I see pictures of him in his box. I am still on the fence about Wedding Cinderella as well . . . that's a lot of money for a doll who is based on a charter from a Live action film which I haven't even seen yet.

Hi, when trying to buy Designer Fawn doll and the website had issues, I was able to get her on my phone but when I tried to checkout it told me I was already logged in. I had to log out from my computer. I had never done a Disney purchase through my phone until that night.

thank you for that, it's helpful to know what experiences people have had, unfortunately the website seems pretty unpredictable!

Little advice: I got pink and blue Aurora with the intention of only keeping one because I figured if I saw both in person I would decide which I preferred. For some extra space and money for all these new dolls, I'm trying to decide which to part with as I don't like doubles.
I prefer the background on the blue one, as well she is a lower edition size, and we never get anything of Aurora in blue. But on the other hand with SQ Elsa, Cinderella and Aurora all in blue maybe I should keep pink. Pink is my favourite colour as well.

I decided on blue because Walt allegedly preferred her in blue. :) That was all of the reasoning I needed! Not to mention she is in blue for the majority of the time she wears the dress! Especially in the iconic kiss scene!

I don't have that Aurora doll but I did think long and hard about getting her when I found out they were making a blue version. The way I see it, blue is the dress' proper color in the film. That's what she wears through most of it (as ElysionsPrincess mentioned), the color she wears during the kiss, and the color she first comes down the stairs in. So to me, the blue dress is the "real" dress, and Disney merch just uses the pink one in the Princess line because pink attracts little girls. So I regard the pink dress as a marketing tool and I like it even less because of that :D

Am I biased? Oooooh boy I so am! But that's my two cents and of course at the end of the day it's absolutely a personal choice :)

People in the UK, is anyone going to stores to get the frozen dolls tomorrow? I want to, but I worry I won't get there in time even if I leave 3 hours early! I've rung my local store who is in a shopping center and they said they've had calls all day about people getting them and they won't know how many dolls they're going to get and I'm just panicking, I missed out last March and I really don't want to miss out again, any suggestions or tips?!

LOL, I ended up getting both Aurora dolls because she's one of my top 3 favorite Disney Princess (the other two being Rapunzel and Elsa - who, from what I've read, is going to end up inducted as the 13th Disney Princess). I was only interested in the pink at first, though, because I adore what she looks like in pink. Plus, at the end of the film, when the storybook closes, the dress is pink. But then I decided to go ahead and get the blue, as well, because we hardly ever get her in blue, and that particular shade is just so beautiful.

Anna's background is of Arendelle Castle and main entrance. The main frame around the window is purple like her coronation doll with blue rosemaling accent patterns. It's my favorite of her three boxes design cut out shapes! Kristoff has a background of Arendelle frozen over ! His box has tan pattern shapes around his frame and has sven for his silhouette on the back instead of himself. Elsa has a background similar to the scene were Anna and Hans are sitting before the start singing love is an open door. It is made up mostly of the cross- diamond shape pattern design made up of purple gradients. These three boxes are a lot more colorful than the snow Anna and coronation Elsa boxes.

As someone who LOVES the tapestries and not just the dolls inside, this is such fabulous news! Thanks so much for sharing! :D

Now that we have an idea of what the Frozen dolls look like in their respective boxes, I am hoping that someone gets to see Cinderella in her box soon! I am really anxious to hear what she looks like in person.

I did not buy the March Frozen dolls last year (and I now regret it) but I think heard many did not get in Europe. Do you think these will go as fast? They honestly look the best of all LE dolls in my opinion and I would feel horrible if I did not get them. Do people post UK links here? I have not used links before but if they are faster...

And also I am annoyed with myself because I have apparently deleted my DisneyStore discount code I had on my e-mail. Does anyone know if it is possible to get your old e-mails back? Pretty sure there is not, or it is for geniuses only, I am just annoyed with myself.

There's 1000 dolls in Europe, so more than the March 2014 release. I'm not sure if people post links here, usually not for a while after it's released.

Just called to confirm with my local store, and they are definitely selling the new dolls. They said that they have 15 of Anna and 15 of Elsa, no mention of Kristoff, though, and I'm kinda surprised, as I spoke to the Cast Member who usually handles the LE releases. Not that it matters - only want Elsa from this go around.

Kinda curious, though, about one of the major rule changes. Apparently, customers are allowed to start cueing up an hour before the store opens, but if you arrive before then, the mall security will escort you out of the building. That was never the case before.

^ I think that may only be for your own local mall.... Or only for the US. In France people have been queuing since this afternoon (it's now 1 or 2 AM in France - not sure exactly what the time difference is between them and my country, but something along those lines). So I dunno, it sounds to me like the Mall just doesn't want there being a fuss in one of its stores.

EDIT: Oh and as for the UK links, if I find them and they're not posted here yet, I'll come and share with you guys - I think I did the same last year. But I have no idea where we'll be able to find them... :(

Wonderful! I quite like the purple frame of coronation Anna. So, I should get Anna first and then Kris-toff and Elsa.

I definitely think that's the reason. Plus, the mall was under construction during last year's Fairytale Designer and Sleeping Beauty release, which didn't exactly lead to the best conditions.

My mall confirmed that no one is allowed in the mall before 7 a.m. as well. So, yeah that's new. They always have the mall walkers there as early as 6 in the morning, so I don't know how exactly they're going to uphold that. I guess I could pretend to be a mall walker until 7...

Just walk back and forth in front of the Disney Store :)

I mean I showed up at seven last time and was third in line, so I should be fine. Except, they had a lot more calls with this release than before and they were telling everyone when to show up, which they didn't do last time. Fortunately, I know the only door that's open at seven in the morning and the rest of them are locked...

So ive decided to get all three. better to be safe and get them all at retail. Anna was always a must but may as well get Kristoff and Elsa too. Besides I enjoy doll season so much so its nice to have some early in the year. And im sure they will look much better in person :D.

If any one bought these dolls from your local, could you please share your item number with me? I am quite obsessed with Frozen.

So for US what time are you guys going to your store? Mine opens at 10 and my plan was to leave around 7:30... What do you guys think too early not early enough?
