DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion
Ugh, I feel like this rumour got a little bit out of hand... This person that confirmed Hans on Tumblr used all the same words that can be found on the hidden page like: embroidery, twill trousers, slik-effect tie, Special Edition blah blah...I think (s)he made some things up like it being a surprise doll that will be released on friday. The same person also removed my watermark, so that's a little suspicious.

Quasimodo is right, the picture that Disney Store used did look photoshopped, that's why I think it's a test item or future project.

Please, don't get too excited! :/

Here I was thinking it was going to be a relatively easygoing release on Friday for the Blue Cinderella doll ... now I fear everyone and their neighbor and their mother and their uncle and all their cousins-twice-removed are going to be on the DS website and standing in line at the store on Friday for a surprise Frozen doll that might not even exist.

:sigh:

* Well played, rumor trolls; well played.

As long as we're on the subject, maybe the instigator of the entire LE Hans conspiracy did so out of revenge because he/she missed out on the new Frozen dolls. :O

To be honest guys, all these doll theories make as much sense as Minnie and Mortimer Mouse dating each other. :D I'll be excited for whatever will happen, but until an official announcement arrives from Disney along with poorly photographed stock photos I'm not believing a thing until the doll links show up on my desktop Friday morning. :)

i like the scalper "proof i'm not one" machine or whatever this was more so than anything written on the last few pages here.

i can only imagine what will happen on friday. let's relax and proceed in a single file?

Thats funny! But, it R eally bugs me that someone would deliberately sabotage our happiness by planting a false rumor. Shame Shame.

just called my local disney store. had a lovely brief conversation with a cast member. they said they actually had the frozen dolls left over until the end of the day on the day they were released and she said there were only a couple of calls regarding cinderella (and probably some of them were mine cause i was calling them every day lol). that gives me hope that i will go in the morning and not see an insane number of people waiting for cinderella.

they didn't hear anything about hans and i don't think the store is getting them. they sounded pretty sure.

LOL

I actually really really want the Frozen fever dolls... But I'm not sure when would be a good time for them... I mean spring is already done in terms of doll releases (at least my wallet is hoping anyway...) and the summer we should get another designer collection if rumors are true, and then aladdin in the fall.

so I can't imagine where'd they fit them in this year...

but I especially would want Anna.

Though I love the design of Anna's Frozen Fever dress, especially the pockets, she's honestly not my fav character from the movie in general. I got this latest Anna to go with Kristoff, since there outfits match and all, and Snow Gear Anna because I found it cheaper to purchase both her and Elsa instead of just Elsa alone. Having ever so regrettably missed out on Snow Queen Elsa I'd definitely go for the Frozen Fever Elsa instead as she would have her hair down in a braid and thus offer a nice progression of Elsa's character development when displayed alongside my other two dolls. Was SO disapointed that they didn't have the girls in Frozen Fever attire for this release, but I'm still hopeful that Disney will do a fourth, and hopefully final, LE Frozen Fever set in the future! Whether that be this year, possibly around the time Cinderella, and thus probably the Forozen Fever short, releases on Blue Ray, or the next year....I don't know! Guess we'll just have to wait and see! 83

I seriously doubt that, if an LE Frozen Fever set is released, that it will be the last. Disney all ready has their sites on Frozen 2, after all. I have a feeling that, depending on future LE sales, we can see a release for that movie, as well.

I really am hoping for a LE Frozen Fever set. Their dresses are soooo beautiful, and as much as I love my Princess Elsa I really want one with her hair down too! And the colors on Anna's dress are gorgeous. I think we will definitely get them because they did Wedding Rapunzel for Tangled Ever After and Frozen is more popular than Tangled, but I think it will be whenever they release Cinderella on blu-ray at this point :) Or maybe just random, haha you never can tell!

Whatever happens on Friday, at least it will be over soon, lol! I am planning on going for blue Cinderella, and if there is a surprise Hans, him too. If there turns out to be no Hans but a Lady Tremaine or other cinderella character instead, I'll be pleased and impressed that the rumors went in the wrong direction all this time!

True, but Frozen 2, supposedly, won't be coming out for a while. At least, that seems to be the case if the film's directors are to be believed as they have stated numerous times that unless and until they find a story to tell that clicks with them and the characters then they won't be creating the sequel.

Question: I know how the traditional Tuesday releases go by now, with the dolls releasing in the stores that day and online at midnight (3:00am) the following morning, but does the same go for these Friday releases as well or are they say released midnight (3:00am) Friday morning with the rest releasing later that day when the Disney store opens? I have no interest in Cinderella, sorry Cindy, but if Hans does indeed release then I would like to get him! I'm just not sure it's wise to get up at 4-5am again just to stand in line till 10:00am for a doll that may or may not be in the store when I have to work from about 3-8pm then get ready to attend the Frozen Fever/Cinderella showing I've purchased a ticket to at 10:00pm. Last time I had the day off and was able to sleep for a few hours, this time I'd have to be very careful to make sure I'm up in time for work if I did lie back down. So getting him online, if he's available, might be my best bet this time.

I just called Disney, and the worker told me that they are telling people there will be an LE Hans, but really it is the Duke.....how dubious of them!
Ok that didn't happen....but it should have.

My understanding is that it will available online at midnight Thursday night/Friday morning, then in stores later that same day. So it's different from the other releases I've been through, too.

Silvermist, if any other dolls come out with Cindy, you'll know at 5am, because they will be released online at the same time as each other. Not to panic you, but there have been a couple online exclusives (wedding Cindy for example).

Anyway, good luck to everyone. It's only like 27 hours away!

Thanks guys, I just didn't want to wait 5+ hours in line when I could be sleeping instead. An online release wouldn't necessarily panic me. I prefer to avoid them, especially when I've got a Disney store 5 minuets away from my house, as the idea of the sight crashing, waiting for the links to go up, and waiting for confirmation can be nerve wracking, but I have done it once before with the designer Aurora and Phillip to gain the experience for future reference. I'm in the U.S. and normally get the links at 3:00am btw, just in case that changes the times up at all. Good luck to everyone else as well, hopefully everyone gets the doll(s) they want in the end! 83

It shouldn't. US releases tend to happen at midnight Pacific time, and then translate between the other time zones, making it 1am Mountain time, 2am Central, and 3am Eastern. That's always been my one complaint about online releases, being on the East Coast, considering I have to wake up at 6:30am on weekdays in order to get ready for work, so in order to do a doll release, I either have to be exhausted the next day or take the day off so I can catch up on the sleep. Very frustrating.
