Hi everyone.

Quick update.

The weather here today is just not suitable for me to be going out in. And needless to say, each and every one of us MUST PUT OUR HEALTH FIRST!

That being said, I have reached out to Disney events in Florida ( and the next little bit of information might be helpful to some of the members here), I often use the Disneyland AP Facebook page to send messages to the corporate office. Usually it's in the form of compliments.

So I decided to use that communication avenue once again today. They were very prompt in responding.

I had mentioned that I was ill and not able to attend tonight and how I could go about obtaining my merchandise.

They told me it would be mailed out to me the first of next week.

I am not concerned I feel confident it will all come secure and complete.

Since I live in the same city, I'll probably have it by Wednesday at the latest. If anybody has any concerns please feel free to message me.

One last note, for those of you who I was going to do pickups for tonight at the event, I will be sure to pick up the those pins when they are released probably in a week or two.

P.S. I am grateful for my experience of interacting with Disney corporate, because this is allowed me to come up with options to communicate with them.

Always a learning-curve.

Hi everyone.

I'm checking in to let you know I'm still alive.

On a scale of 1-10 (and depending on the time of day it is) I'm about a 5.

I've been hearing alot of people are sick right now.

Anyway, I waiting on the UP RSP package from Disney Anaheim. as soon as I receive it I will post an update. It's only Tuesday so I'm not concerned.

God willing I can drink enough tea, orange juice, vitamin c and get more rest so I can be at the park on Thursday with my Disney BFF for the that day's pin releases, which includes the balance of the UP pins (thus my Wait Listers).

In the meantime, please feel free to contact me with any questions..

"Hello, Connie! We have confirmed that our partners will be shipping the items to you this week. If you have not received them within the next 7-10 business days, please let us know."

I want to keep you ALL informed with as much info as possible.

Hang-in-there. To say I greatly appreciate your patience, doesn't even begin to cover my gratitude.

Btw, im, say 60% better (praise the Lord)
And I will be bundling-up and heading to the park at 6. So, all UP wait-listed pins WILL be purchased.

Hi everyone!

I figured it was time to post an update on the arrival of my UP RSP order.

So, if you remember from my update above I was told 7 to 10 business days, that was as of the 22nd of May.

Honestly in my opinion they should have been delivered by today if one takes into consideration that the event was held on the 16th.

10 days will be this coming Friday. And that includes taking in the holiday.

If they do not arrive on Friday, I plan on sending another message via the Disneyland FB/AP page, and calling Disney events in Florida for an update.

I'll have to admit I am getting a little anxious in waiting for these to arrive.

I guess the worst case scenario would be a full refund to me and then back to you all. I certainly hope that doesn't happen.

Again, I wanted to make sure you know I am very aware of the situation and keeping on top of it as best I can, without contacting them every single day for an update.

Good Sunday my patient friends.

As I continual say...even after 9 years in this hobby, it never-ever ceases to be a "learning-curve". And this situation has been another one.

That being said, here's the latest.

I telephoned Disney events in Florida on Friday about 1 o'clock pt.

I spoke with a cast member she checked the records and said my box of pins had been mailed the Monday after the event (5/20, via USPS parcel select; -if I had known I would have personal paid for it to be priority mail) from Florida.

She stated the delivery date on parcel select delivery (which I am aware of) is 7 to 10 business days. Ten days was this past Saturday.

And I did state that fact to her. This was her response: "if you don't receive it in another seven days please call us back". Ugh.

Okay... now I am getting angry. Why, because I wasn't "informed" the merchandise was coming from Florida.

And, AND...when I emailed Disney events the night of the event itself I received a reply the next morning stating that if I did not pick up the merchandise the night of it the order would be cancelled and refunded to me.

Considering I had communicated with the Disneyland' via their Facebook AP page (the night of) and had received information stating that my order would be mailed, as I stated in an earlier update above, I felt confident.

Well, 16 days later.... confidence in Disney communication has been down graded, again.

What really upsets me is that I asked them if I could pick the merchandise up here at the corporate office off Ball road. And I kept getting a response saying it would be mailed. I honestly didn't think it was going to be mailed from Florida.

I now wish I had followed up with Disney events in Florida the Monday after the event to get more information.

Honestly I should know better because it seems like everything happens out of Florida. And I should have guessed it was being mailed from there. Grr.

Remember I said another "learning curve!" Sheesh!

Believe me once I do receive the package, every single item better be pristine. And I do plan on contacting them via a one-page letter addressing the lack of information I was given.

I really do try to have faith in their customer service. But again the flow of "full and accurate" info has again, fallen through the cracks.

So this is the latest update. I will be following up, hopefully sooner than later next week to say:

The order arrived!!

What a bummer that you are having to do all this back and forth, sorry to hear about the lack of communication on their end! I know I speak for everyone on your list when I sat we appreciate your hard work and dedication on this- you're the best Connie! :)

Wow @Connies_Hobby !! I know that the one paid pin event my friend did not go to (back when it was outside the parks), the only items she got were the ones that came with the ticket, all the ordered items were refunded back to her card within a week (they wouldn't even let me pick her items up!)

That this is happening tomorrow. I kid you not...this just popped up on my email.

I called Disney event services at 12:50 today. And got a rather snotty cast member on the phone who told me that 10 people were waiting for their packages from Disneyland and they would contact their partners at Disneyland to find out what was going on.

At that point I decided to take matters in my own hands and to drive down to the corporate office on Ball Road. Because I did not have an appointment with someone specifically, that all I could do was to call the Disneyland operator, explain my situation to her and she will transfer me to someone that could help me.

So, I stood in the parking lot and made the phone call. The operator transferred me to Disney merchandise and guest services in Orlando. At this point I got to speak with a very nice young lady who was extraordinarily patient in listening to my whole story.

She attempted to contact Disney event services but they were close for the day. And there was nothing that she could do without speaking to them. She went above and beyond and offered to do a three-way conference call on Monday.

When I left there I can't even begin to describe how disappointed I was. Because it reminded me of another Disney event that I was also extremely disappointed in. So much misinformation/or Lack of information. Unfreaking-believable!!!!:mad:

All that being said, I'm checking my email and the above popped up. Coincidence I think not, personally I don't believe in coincidences.

So God willing this time tomorrow I will have, Finally, the RSP from the up anniversary release.

Oh my word...I've never been so happy to see the UPS man in my entire life.

I was sitting here with the door open and heard the little "Bleep from his pad" and jumped up.

Guess what...its my opinion, that all...ALL THIS MERCHANDISE HAS BEEN SITTING IN SOME OFFICE AT DISNEYLAND. It was mailed from there yesterday as I stated above. And I told my husband last night I just have this feeling, since yesterday was another PTN night that when they went to get ready for it they saw the Bags sitting there from the UP PTN waiting to be mailed out. Just a hunch... However I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if I'm right.

Anyway time to jump for joy :mickey2::tigger::stitch:

I've looked over everything, and ALL looks good.

Yours truly, will start packing the orders tomorrow. And I will try and get some of the smaller orders in the 5 p.m. mail tomorrow (Saturday).

For those of you who have larger orders, you can anticipate hearing from me sometime tomorrow evening in regards to postage fees.

I can FINALLY BREATH AGAIN.....:);):D
