Hi guys,
I wear a pin every day and was wondering if anyone did the same? So I am asking do you wear your pins and is there any you would not risk wearing?
I will never wear my Jumbo pin because of its weight, my le 125(or 135?) Hades because i'm so scared I would lose it and I tend to stay away from wearing dangle pins. What about you?
 
I work at STBX, and I fill my lanyard with my Disney pins. It gives me something to look at every day that makes me happy. BUT, we were just told that starting next week, we arent allowed to have ANYTHING on our lanyards.Im so upset....... :rant::cry:
 
I'm sorry to hear that :( I can wear my pins to uni but not in practice for health & safety / cleanliness reasons.
 
Thanks... Im SO mad. I even cornered the head manager yesterday and asked for a reason why all of a sudden this is happening. He said he had "very good reasons", but wouldnt say more. :werd:
 
Me too! My school requires us to wear our ID cards as part of our uniforms at all times, so I wear mine on a lanyard and wear one of my pins on it everyday. People always check with me to see which one I'm wearing each day, they love em lol
 
I wanted to wear one of my favorites on my coat lapel, but after it fell off twice (fortunately I noticed each time and it didn't fall on a hard floor) I didn't want to risk it again.

Since then I bought some locking backs, but haven't tried them out yet. If they work well I want to start wearing some of mine.
 
I only wear my pins on lanyards at the park or pin events.

However, there are a couple nurses at CHOC I have seen with a few pins on their name badge lanyards. One lady has a disney lanyard and little puppy print pins all over it. very cute.
 
I don't wear my pins. I did put my one Mickey pin on my purse when I went down to Williamsburg since he was in a colonial outfit. However, I put him back on my board when I got home.
 
I'm a student nurse and don't fancy trying my luck with wearing them on placement, not to mention being really scared of stabbing a patient with one xD
 
My mom does but I never take mine out unless we go to Disneyland
I just got hired at Disney and I won't be taking my pins lol they're just too special to me.
 
I used to attach one to whatever bag I used in the park (I got too nervous about wearing a heavy lanyard and losing something) but then I ended up losing my only Jessica pin :( it was one of those rack ones they still sell, but it was special because a friend gave it to me, so I'm bummed. So yeah, I really don't wear them anymore because I'm such a worrier.
 
I love to wear my pins, I try to wear one on every day that I can and I want to get a few of those really sturdy locking pin holders so that the pin I choose to wear that day won't fall off. However, there are pins that I refuse to wear because they are rare and I just don't want anything to happen to them. I usually stick to rackpins, hidden mickeys, or other pins that are limited but in large amounts. If I ever got a really rare pin like the Designer pins, I'd only wear them on special occasions, they would look nice on a tux or a suit :)
 
I work occasionally at the Reagan Library & take Santa pics there every year & wear a different Christmas one every day & wear holiday/patriotic ones on holidays, but now with the D23 exhibit & them selling pins there, I can wear them everyday. I do wear a non-Disney Reagan centennial pin on my uniform everytime I work though.
 
I wear a different one every day to work. My students love to see what it is each day. Sometimes they give me requests, so I have a wide variety of pins! The only one that I had trouble with was a mickey pin that opens and closes with magnets. It has little tiny mouse ears, a crown, a castle, etc in it. But the magnet isn;t strong enough to keep things closed and the little pieces would fall out.
 
I switch mine out every few days and wear one or two on my military cap. :D I use these locking backs that I've seen mentioned on the board here countless times that somehow grab the pin back without causing damage(They're silver and don't need a wrench). If I didn't have the locking pin backs or a well fitting hat I wouldn't risk it. D: No one's ever said anything to me about my hat pins, but then I'm a little odd looking in general.
 
I volunteer as a clown on the weekends at nursing homes, fundraisers, and elementary school carnivals - Sometimes I wear a pin on the front of my clown dress, particularly if there's a certain theme that goes with the event. (For example, I just went to a Pet Expo with lots of dogs and cats, so I wore a dalmatian pin.)

I'm also planning on wearing a pin or two with my normal clothes come holiday time. (I have a couple pins that are Hanukkah and Halloween related!)

When I volunteered at CHOC, I and a few other volunteers wore our pins on our badge lanyards as well. It was a great conversation starter when we would visit the patients that were in love with Disney.

My sister's a doctor and she too wears a pin on her white coat and cycles through her small stash every season.
 
Generally students does not want to wear pins on lanyards but at some special events they have to wear lanyards. I very much like to wear lanyards as an employee and it compulsory also.
 
I used to wear them on a lanyard around my neck at the park, but that got heavy and pokey and annoying, so I don't do that anymore. It never occurred to me to wear one on my lapel or something. Hmm, perhaps I will try it out. I would be allowed to do that at work (as far as I know, wouldn't put it past them to have some stupid rule like that, though, but I'd definitely have to put on a locking back. Hubs would kill me if I lost one lol.
