Please let me know Im not alone . Does this happen to you also ? I keep acquiring more and more pins but my wants list is growing not shrinking . Whats up with that ?

I was wondering the same thing the other day

I was adding traders today and I feel like for every trader I added, I found another for my wants!

When I got back into online pin trading, my list was about 1000 pins. I decided to cut it down to just basically a "things to complete sets" list and that got it down to about 325 pins. And then I kept realizing I had other sets I had missed and it got up to 350, 375, 400, 450. I think at one point I was up to 480. It's now down to 423. I really want to get it down below 400... just so I can feel like I made progress before adding a bazillion more pins to the list! I've only made about 3 trades in the last 3 months. The only remedy I can see, is to add more pins to my wants list to hopefully have more trade matches. But I really wanted to get below 400, or wait until the 1st of the year to do that.

Thank you so much for this post. It's so wonderful to know that I'm not alone with this problem. Perhaps it's an epidemic and we all have it.

It is definitely an epidemic and we all have it for sure. As long as they keep releasing new pins, how can a wants list not keep growing? I only add new Stitch pins to my list of wants, and it grows quite a bit from just Stitch. Maybe you can narrow down the categories or the characters you collect in order to only add those to your wants list? If you can't do this, welcome to the club!

I have been trying to keep my list around 4 pages on PinPics (about 380+ pins). I keep thinking it will shrink, but I add as many as I get, so it always stays around 4 pages. Go figure.

Its ridiculously hard to keep your wants down when Disney keeps producing awesome pins. The Designer Pins, the UK pins that have been spot on recently, the Paris pins, the Japanese pins (especially Stitch as Cars 2 and Tigger), the 110th legacy pins... they just keep adding up. Most of the pins on mine and my sisters wants list are older DA pins or Disneyshopping, but it doesn't help when we get bombarded with new, amazing pins. Lol I love this hobby.

I just recently cleared out my wants list, only narrowing it down to a whopping 492 pins, roughly 5 pages.
This hobby is making me go into debt, I swear. LOL.

I always am taking pins on and off my wants list. The best thing to do is set a number of how many pins you want and try to narrow down your list from that point.

you arent alone. practically all the chip dale pins is either on my wish list or already in my collection. guess that is when we know we are addicted. what a wonderfull and fun hobby though.

I swore to myself that I was gonna calm it down for a little while, especially after the Project Florida event. And then the October list was posted with all of the Disney World 40th Anniversary pins.

If I keep going like this it's back to eating Ramen like in college!
