With the way things have been going with Disneyshopping shipping, I was afraid when I FINALLY received my package from them today.

First of all. The "we've shipped your package" email came on the 30th of Aug. But since that day the tracking had not been updated. That made me nervous. I checked it last night and still, nothing. I was ready to call them today and find out what was going on if I didn't see some kind of update.

Then this... fell outside my door this afternoon (literally, I heard the ~thud~ after it was not so carefully "tossed")

At this point, I'm wondering what the contents look like.

Honestly, I don't know how it even made it to me. The part where my name and address is was torn and then re-taped. You could barely make it out. =( I only got a pic of the bottom portion, but you can see part of the rip...

Now follow me as we anxiously and nervously open up this sad box.....

Big box, little pins....

After practically holding my breath till I turned blue... all pins were safe!! Yay! I was fearing the worst. I know maybe the pics don't look that bad to some, but in real life, it was bad enough for me.

All pins were in great shape, Except Dumbo, who appears to have some sort of pin holes...? On his right ear. I'm not sure if that's how it should look.

Si and Am rock back and forth. So cute! *~We are si-a-mese if you ple-ase~*

Prince Phillips arm holding the sword swings back and forth. My bf actually likes this one.

My fave is the Jessica and Roger pin of course! ;)

I'm very thankful that everything turned out ok in the end! Thanks for listening to my mini rant <3

I have never had a box show up like that, but I keep hearing from others that it is so common, so I wonder when my time will come...especially since I just ordered a couple 110th and D23 pins.

So glad you had a happy ending to your illustrated story! Very nice pin selection! The ears on the dumbo pin should move back and forth.

I got a great looking box and open it up and the vinyls I ordered took a beating. Moral of the story? Never judge a book by its cover. :D

Glad you received ALL of your pins safe and sound!!! I am not sure who thinks that it is appropriate to ship such small items in such a HUGE box? My box was almost double the size of yours and had a chunk missing out of the bottom, it too was smooshed on the corner. PHEW for you!! :) I am glad that your treasures have made it to you safe! :)

I've gotten boxes like that; usually things are alright, and glad that they were for you in this case.

You are also very lucky to have received everything you ordered. That is something they are apparently not doing so well these days...

I think the same person packaged all of our orders lol. Using boxes that are FAR too big for the order. Hopefully, they will recognize it and make some changes.

I, too, have received some crazily packaged orders with boxes arriving partially opened. The boxes on a couple vinyls didn't fare well and a couple backers have been bent so I've been holding back on placing another order since then. Let's hope they start taking better care with their packaging. So glad to see your pins arrived unscathed, though!:bigthumb:

I love the Mickey head on the box, LOL.

Great choice of pins though. ^^
Glad you received them in great condition.
I'd ask around about the Dumbo pin or perhaps call them.

I just received a package from DSUK yesterday and it had really taken a beating. There was a Mickey Mouse art set in it, which is a "lunch box" with pencils and colors and stuff inside. It was bent and dented. The package was delivered by a courier I paid £20 for and we're talking about a box made of metal getting destroyed!

I've mailed them over and over again to ask them to allow international customers the option to use regular mail instead of the forced courier service. For us it is all the same if a package gets lost in the mail or destroyed by a courier.

Glad your pins arrived safe! Working in a mailroom, I've seen lots of boxes arrive like that! The worst made boxes are the ones China had used to ship certain items to the Disneyland warehouse on Ball Rd! They were sooo flimsy, like tissue paper! You could tear them like paper! Even though they often used custom styrofoam packing forms, I saw 40th Haunted Mansion event items at DLR get damaged!

This just arrived:

At least this time they had put in a good amount of air cushions - but half of them had burst because of the handling the package had received.

Fortunately the five Designer Princesses inside were intact!
