Well I don't remember my first pin, but I think it was this fairy set that my mom got me years before I got into pin collecting. I have always collected fairies, still do. (Pin 16302: Disney Catalog - Disney Fairies (Pin Set #1) Pin 17062: Disney Catalog - Disney Fairies (Pin Set #2) Pin 17714: Disney Catalog - Disney Fairies (Pin Set #3)
However what I do remember is the pin that made me want to start trading, the first pin to catch my eye, sadly at that time I didn't have any pins and when I came back with a pin to trade for it, the CM had already traded it away, but the pin that started my trading was this little gold bumblebee from what I am assuming is Winnie the Pooh, so if anyone ever comes across it and wants to trade for it, let me know as I'd love to have it to remember that day. Before that pin I didn't even what pin trading was, my roommate, who had previously worked at WDW exlained it all to me and for the next year we had the most fun trading off of lanyards, some of that fun unfortunately has dwindled, but I will always remember that bumblebee.
