Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
My Elsa order is active!! :) I might try to get Anna but we'll see. Just glad to get one with the forum and the site crashing.

My card is charged (in a different amount oddly enough thanks to estimates). I got them both pretty early, but I still will be anxious until they're shipped.

So I managed to order both dolls however my partner was helping me and was getting Elsa for me and unfortunately he selected the wrong billing address. He put my US address instead of my Australian one as a result the details don't match with my historical orders so right now I am worried that Disney Store may cancel my Elsa order thinking that it was a fraudulently placed order. Has anyone come up with this issue before? I will just give them a cal and can hopefully rectify it.

On the plus side the cinemas here just released tickets for Frozen and they are advance screenings too for Dec 15!! It is still a while away but still it is better than nothing. Also it is only in 2D too, I would have preferred 3D but again I would just love to see the movie.

Hopefully everyone was able to order the dolls that they wanted tonight!

Also just as I speculated the Disney Store UK Frozen LE dolls are still available and I think this would be due to two things
1) the market just is no where near as big as the US therefore the dolls will take a bit longer to sell out
2) the increase in price by 20 pounds would definitely deter a lot of people especially since there is no way to justify the price difference since it is no different to the ones released in the US.
I hope going forward Disney will be a little wiser about their stock allocation between the stores because like I said even if the UK store were to sell out people would still be able to buy it from the US if they really wanted it. Also to be honest even with the shipping from the US ordering from there will almost be the same as ordering from the UK if they are in fact increasing the price of their dolls to 80 pounds without justification. I hope for the sake of our fellow UK DPF members that this is an error.

Can I ask how much do Anna and Elsa cost in USA, after tax is added?

Polaris I'm glad you got them, hope they can sort out shipping eep!
And that's great you get to see an advance screening of Frozen, I am hoping to see it in 2D actually because I think 3D darkens the picture too much. I thought Tangled was a much better and prettier film in 2d because of the lush colours

thanks sian and serafina! Yes the poor guy felt bad when he found out but I said it was fine, at the end of the day it is just a doll, I am just happy he was helping me out. Serafina in the US after tax the dolls work out to be about $106.95 each. Not sure if the tax varies depending on which state you are getting the item shipped to but it would generally be around the $105-$110 mark.so if you were in the UK and to order from the US and have it shipped to the UK directly it would cost about £110 which is only £30 more than what they are selling at in the UK.

Just bought mine in store they all had £60 stickers in but when she put them through the till they came up at £80! But she priced override them to £60. But as we were at the till another member of staff took all the prices off them!!! Are they supposed to be £80????

You were very lucky Mel, I think that's karma for you having to buy the Harrods dolls so an excellent little saving :)

Forgot to to ask did many people turn up at the store?

the guy before me paid £80. it was only when I pointed it out and refused to pay £80. I only know this as they brought up his transaction an the cm said to the other "no he paid £80"

Thats so cheeky of them....they clearly were meant to be £60 but they last minute decided to try fleece us for more money! So put the price up to £80! That will be why the hidden pages vanished suddenly on DisneystoreUK!

Sorry about the whole address thing, but I think that if you call you are able to change it and explain the situation. Either way I don't think the order is in any jeopardy of being cancelled.

I found out from DS staff that London's Leicester Square had a Frozen Gala Screening on the 17th November. Some sort of VIP "celebrity" screening, from the photos I only recognise this man:

Fellow conservationist Bill Oddie  photos direct from contact music.

Williemijn Verkaik, the Dutch voice of Elsa, performed at the event.

Thats really random haha! Were Idina and Kristen not there?

Every state has different sales tax. My state is 5%, but another state might be 7%. There are a couple states that don't have state sales tax at all. The two dolls cost me $10 in total tax.

http://taxfoundation.org/article/state-and-local-sales-tax-rates-2013.

Being in a state with no sales tax, my Elsa came to 112.95$ I think. I don't bother trying to put in the free shipping code. I look at it as an extra 13$ to be able to grab her without possibly getting my order canceled xD.

I know this might be a bad time since everyone is talking about the dolls, but I was wondering if anyone had any information about the pins coming out tomorrow? I am interested in the snowglobe Olaf (especially since I just got my snowglobe in today!) and the snowflake and the set of 4... I have heard that we can call and place an order but does anyone know if this is for all pins or only the open edition ones? I have never done this before but I would really appreciate any help from my fellow collectors!

If you're talking about the Limited edition pin being released at WDW and DLR, you can only order these 2 weeks after the release, if there are any left by calling the Parks' Merchandise phone number. For the booster set of 4 and the snowflake, these are open editions so you can call anytime and order (check odpt.com for the correct SKU). If you mean the DSF set coming out on Friday, then you can only order these 2 weeks after the release, if there are any left by calling DSS.

Polaris- I'm sure the difference in shipping won't be a problem. I live in Canada but I have a variety of US addresses I ship to (since I live close to the border and UPS' brokerage fees are beyond ridiculous) and Disney doesn't have a problem with it. I have occasionally gotten a phone call from them just so they can verify that the billing address is correct, but everything was fine afterwards. I think they must get a bunch of people from other countries ordering gifts to be sent to friends or family in the US. If you're really worried, give them a call, but otherwise I think you're fine :)

That's the cost for shipping, as I recall.

My Elsa & Anna came up to $217+ (some sort of change) which is weird because my county's sales tax is only 8% so it should be $216. I guess we will see when the final bill shows up!

I doubt it. Idina was probably busy rehearsing for If/Then. It didn't strike me as a "proper" premiere from the look of it only Bill Oddie, Radio1 DJ Jo Whiley and that bloke who used to be in Hollyoaks I recognised from photos I've seen so far.
