Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
Copying and pasting from the 17" doll thread, as I hope someone here may be able to help:

My Aunt decided to get me both from the uk store, she just forwarded me the confirmation emails! But I feel really really bad about the 20 pound price hike, I know they are a gift but I told her it was going to be 60 GBP and feel really bad about it.

Does anyone have a link to an advert which announced the dolls as 60 GBP, or did I just assume that was going to be the price? Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy that I got them, but that's a very steep sudden price hike and if I can find something that shows the original 60 GBP price, I'm going to contact them to get that adjusted.

Someone from the other thread mentioned that the people who managed the early release got it for 60?

On their original pages they had up hidden, it said £60! when I go on my laptop later ill search their Facebook page and see if it says £60 :)

I called my local store, and they are priced at £80. Mixed feelings, so annoyed yet so happy to have gotten them lol.

I just sent off an email to disneystore uk as I have no facebook. They have replied my emails in the past, so hopefully I'll get some sort of response. The fact that the physical stores also said 80 GBP is a bad sign though. Looks like it is an actual increase and not an error.

I'm not sure if the 'secret' website page will help in this situation as it was not supposed to be available to the public and not a true advertisement. I checked the official disneystore blog, but they only had the US and Canadian prices listed. But I will let the forum know if I meet with any success.

ETA: the price on the other european sites is 90 Euros. I think the price hike is real :(

Hmmm so on the Italian disney site, if you search for Anna her price in the search results come up as 90 euros but if you click on her to buy she is 79 euros. Looks like someone messed up somewhere.

I looked like ten minutes ago at the Italian website and Elsa cost 70 euros. Really weird. I think I'm going to send the Disney Store a private message on Facebook. Is there a special UK Disney Store facebook or just one for all of them?

Its the same one for all as I always see European customers on there complaining, well that's all I read is complaints haha!

I know this might be a bad time since everyone is talking about the dolls, but I was wondering if anyone had any information about the pins coming out tomorrow? I am interested in the snowglobe Olaf (especially since I just got my snowglobe in today!) and the snowflake and the set of 4... I have heard that we can call and place an order but does anyone know if this is for all pins or only the open edition ones? I have never done this before but I would really appreciate any help from my fellow collectors!

I've emailed them and fb messaged them to complain about the price. I'd phone them but I feel too groggy to argue at the moment. Might do it later. I think if we all complain we might get somewhere.

So I just watched a review for the movie from IGN and they've given it 9.3 two comments that stood out for me were:

"Best animated movie since The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast"

"Songs are outstanding, best since the Lion King"

Those are two pretty big statements, I'm not sure id watch the review if you don't want to know much, it doesn't really give spoilers it just tells you a little about the characters and the movie.

Wow, I'm surprised they sold out this fast! Well both of my dolls say Active so that is a good thing.....sorry to anyone who didn't get theirs.....:(. I think it is just crazy how fast these dolls are selling...I mean Sgt. Calhoun there was only 1000 and it took her forever to sell out. I feels like we are getting more collectors but I think there has also been a bigger increase in sharks. I guess that goes with anything though when you can make money off of it....

I didn't realize that some people were against FB on this forum! I know that once this site was down in previous releases, I went over to FB to see if they had anything.

Good luck to anyone going to a physical shop!

They're also two statements reviewers have been throwing around for YEARS. I swear, you'd think Disney hasn't made a masterpiece since 1994, even though every other film is "The Best Since BatB/TLK".

I'm sure this will be Disney's best animated film since Wreck-it Ralph, which is a bit less insulting to recent Disney films. ^_^
