You are right about this, if u check the bidders section of the listing you will notice they have zero feedback, ALL OF THEM, of course u cannot see the bidders name, but u will see stars in the profile name and then the feedback score next to it, it's just a bad scheme.


this has also discussed here before about a rapunzel and belle doll that went up to $ 1000 in the same sellers listings despite cheaper and more reasonable "buy it now" options in ebay

We were talking about the eggs and that is pretty much what I said. I understand it being a choking hazard for a child. But children put things in their mouth all the time. Even if you crack open the egg, take out the capsule with the toy, and then give them the toy. They could still put it in their mouth and choke. And we sell all KINDS of toys now that have choking hazards sadly.

That being said...if anyone in the UK is able to get these for me, maybe we can do some kind of trade for anything you want from the US?
 

ive not seen them in the UK yet, but if I do i'll let you know! I'd have to take the toy out of the chocolate though as like said above they're super illegal in America :lol:
 
I'm wondering if they will release a Frozen pin box set like they did with brave, snow white, peter pan etc. I hope they do! But seems like pin collecting is so much worse than doll collecting. Do you think it would be this week as well?
 
I definitely remember the almost $1000 sales..in fact when I looked at the buyers they had low feedback scores so I assumed it was fake. I was watching the dolls for a friend wanting the belle and once the price became ridiculous I couldn't believe it was real!
 
Even though I know Disney does not look into resale value, but with how fast Elsa's LE doll went up in price just proves how successful "Frozen" has become. She has become increasingly popular and sought after that I wonder if they'll make a sequel. I'd love to see more of the Frozen story and watch it unfold, but I think we all cringe with tears when we think about Pocahontas 2; however, I enjoyed Aladdin's 2 sequels. Wow, now that I think about it, a lot of them had sequels. I just think we all have "Frozen fever." Lol..
 

I dont believe Walt Disney Animation Studios has actually ever done a sequel before. All the sequels such as Pocahontas 2, Mulan 2, TL 2 and 3, Cinderella 2 and 3, Aladdin 2 and 3 were all done by a different studio hence why all were straight to dvd releases and generally not considered canon and why most LE merchandise is only based on the original movie and not the sequels.
 
Well frozen has made 640,000,000$ so far and it hasn't even been released everywhere yet! It's funny cause I know loads of people on tumblr said they were gonna boycott the movie cause it was "racist" and "sexist" (how they can judge It before they've even seen it I don't know...) and it makes me laugh cause they believed it was going to flop at the box office :lol: I'm so happy it's done so well ! I know a lot of my friends were saying they hated it before it came out and they weren't interested in seeing it and now they are all obsessed with it!

I agree I think that some people just try finding a way to complain about everything LOL, I can see where they are getting the racist comment from (as the cast was predominantly Caucasian, but then again wouldn't Mulan have been racist by those standards then? LOL) still trying to figure out how the movie is sexist though? still that is funny haha

Also got this super cute glittery tote for me (without looking at its measurements) but it turned out smaller than what I expected (measures approx. 12" L X 12" W with 8" handle drop) so I ended up giving it to my DD and she likes it. I wish there were more Frozen merchandise for adults.

Never has there been a quote more true... I just recently turned 20 and have been so reflective about the fact that Disney officially no longer caters to me as much as when I was a child. It is especially hard with Frozen because I've been looking forward to it for so long! There just isn't much out there for adults (let alone men!) with the Disney label on it.
 
Speaking of the controversy raised before Frozen came out, I was shocked when I found out what some users at Tumblr did when they saw Elsa's first promotional image:



Apparently fans were upset to find out we were having another white, blue eye-color, blonde princess, so they went ahead and turned Elsa into a princess of color. Aaagh the people these days *facepalm*.
 

Oh my gosh, I know what you both mean! I don't buy the $10 classic dolls anymore, as they just feel cheap and childish to me; I'm almost 30! So I stick to the LE items. However, Animator Kristoff is adorable & his character really grew on me.. not sure if I want to hold off and wait until there is a Kristoff doll that is more targeted towards adults.
