I know the regular Frozen bluray is region free, so I'm assuming the steelbook will be the same (though I wouldn't be surprised if the 3D disc is code locked since it's not coming out 3D here until the holidays). I'm in Canada, which is the same region as the US.

Jungle Book, I found out the hard way, is region locked, so I have to buy the US version to put inside my UK steelbook.

The steel book is 'region B' which is Europe according to my searches.
 
All their steelbook are listed that way, but the ones that are region free usually port over to steelbook as region free as well like the little mermaid. It says region b but it's actually region free. Hopefully this will be the same with frozen. Don't think I explained that right....
 
@matthew the steelbook is just a collectible case. It's limited to 2,000 I think I heard. I collect disney steelbooks but they stopped making them in North America after Brave for some reason.

@rainbow it's a 2 disc set with 3d on one and 2d on the other.
 
Oh, that's a bit of a let down! I'll still keep my pre order for the time being though. I'd prefer a steelbook than all the random stuff disney store are offering.

Has DS run out of the Frozen lithographs? It just dawned on me today that I pre-ordered the DVD today when buying Tink, but the CM didn't offer me any lithos.

I know!! I really would have gone crazy if frozen came out when I was a kid... I mean, I'm already pretty crazy about it as it is. It's been quite a while since I've been so diligent about checking the toy aisle in every store I go in. =O

The store you ordered it from may have sold out, that... or the CM just forgot to give them to you. I would call back and ask. :)
 
I havent enjoyed a disney movie as much as this one in a long time, this is by far the best of the newer ones!!

Does anyone think there will be a Designer doll of snowqueen Elsa anytime soon? I am thinking it may not come for AGES, if at all, as there is already the other Elsa dolls... :( Id love a designer one in that dress.
 
are they going to be restocking the classic 12 inch anna and elsa dolls or are they sold out forever? :|

The thing with the designer dolls is that they're a part of some kind of line - meaning, I don't see them just doing an Elsa and Anna doll and since they've already done the designer line, it's hard to see when they should make a designer Elsa doll, but you never know of course, since Disney is aware of the fact that Elsa is a money making machine.

They will be back at some point. Actually just saw that the Danish Disney store have them back up - Elsa have been sold out since the beginning of January, but both her and Anna are back now... wonder when they restocked...
In the moment, Disney has problems with keeping up with the demands, so it might take some time, but since they're not a limited release, they should be back. Might be in March though. You just have to keep checking.
