I agree Anna's green dress is lovely. It would make a great outfit for an LE doll. I also love Kristoff's design he looks a lot different from your typical male Disney lead. And I am a HUGE Jonathan Groff fan. He is legit my husband(plus we're from the same state and only 2 hours away from each other...but I'm not a stalker I swear ) I also am excited about Hans. I am hoping he is some type of villain! Can't wait for the film!

Gah! I can't wait to see a real preview! And, I really can't wait to hear the villain laughter for the first time! Love. That is love.

So...did you guys see the "trailer"? It was a cute little short...but nothing more. Gah! I wanna see Elsa! Sure, it hinted to winter ending and whatnot...BUT STILL!

I saw the teaser. After waiting for so long I was let down that that was all they gave us. I so desperately want to see Elsa. I really wish they hadn't made Sven a duplicate of Maximus. That was pretty lazy on Disney's part.

I was dissapointed as well. I'm so desperate to see Anna and espcially Elsa in action. More waiting for us :´(

RIGHT!? It's kind of that same formula, huh? The reindeer is Maximus and the snowman is Ray. I can see it but don't fully agree with...so many people are saying Anna is a remodel of Rapunzel. I hope Elsa is a stand out knockout character. All this hype and buildup...it could still technically be a flop. O.0
Just give me a beautiful Elsa LE doll and I'll be on my way, no complaints.

I will be really disappointed if this movie doesn't reach or exceed the level of quality that I expect from a Disney film. Winter is my favorite season and I've always wanted Disney to do a Winter themed movie. I really hope there is a LE Elsa doll. Her blue dress is gorgeous. With a design like that it can't not have a LE doll.

I think the movie will turn out fine. I remember people freaking out about Tangled and how it was marketed. And look how successful it was. This is Disney's way of trying to appeal to both girls and boys. A trailer showcasing a sweeping musical fairy tale epic about 2 sisters probably isn't the most interesting thing for a little boy. So Disney has found a way to market their "princes films" (i.e. this and Tangled) to appear more gender neutral so boys and girls will want to see it.

I thought the teaser was really cute. I mean, I kinda prefer if they don't give us an actual trailer just yet, but more nearer to release. If they released a trailer now featuring official footage , I think the hype may die down having to wait 5 months till the movie. I actually prefer the way Disney has chosen to market the film, there's more to look forward to. But I wish they didn't call the sneak preview a "trailer", as that is what many people were expecting.

That is an excellent point. sometimes it can be difficult to get young boys to see a film if it is considered "girly." There are certainly places where it can cause issues for them socially. I think it is a shame, because there is nothing wrong with blurring the acceptable "this is what boys do, this is what girls like" lines. Both me and my guy love Tangled, Rapunzel is his favorite princess, and then Cinderella. He likes the stories and its no big deal.

We are both really excited for Frozen, neither of us are worried about it being another Tangled. I think because it hasn't been super marketed yet people are getting concerned, but it is alright, Disney has done a lot of quality films in the last 3-4 years, so likely this will follow the pattern.

Speaking of marketing though, I want me some Frozen dolls! Why is Mattel taking so long?! They usually have merch out way early.

I was expecting a look at Anna and Elsa, but I thought the teaser which we got was extremely cute.

I love this close up image of Elsa, she just looks like such an interesting and gorgeous character.

Yes I saw it. This article made my wish for a LE Elsa seem all the more possible. I can't wait to see all of the Frozen merchandise. It's going to be amazing.

My theory is that both Anna and Elsa would become Disney Princess. It would be the 1st time that 2 characters from the same movie become official princess, and that a Villain enters there. But knowing Disney, they would probably do it to foment Sisterhood among the Princess category, just like they used Mulan, Pochahontas and Jasmine to promote equality among ethnicities.

I was told before DS expected to produce both as LE dolls. It was also announced months ago that Anna and Elsa are joining the Princess line up in 2014.

I got the feeling that this was more of a short for the trailer, sort of an introduction to characters. I was disappointed a lil because I'm so excited about this film and I would of loved to see more f the characters and storyline. I didn't really dig the whole. "Moose" acting like a dog but the snowman was very adorable

I'm totally on board and welcoming of the first villain Disney princess...but my only hope is that the LE dolls are sold *separately*.

I agree that Elsa is the more promising of the two characters as far as originality and possible doll potential (look at that dress!), but from what I've gathered/read about the story thus far, Elsa is Anna's OLDER sister. It's unclear how old either of them are, but my point is that this potentially places Elsa at an age above most of the other Disney princesses, which would be interesting. Also, the fact that she is the Snow QUEEN, not princess, connotes a sense of control, age, and maturity (although this is just speculation). If they do incorporate Elsa into the "princess" line, I hope she doesn't get demoted or something, as silly as that sounds. I think it would be really neat to have the first princess-queen. She'd be like the big sister of the group.

I think it's always been the strawberry blonde, but that picture was just in the shade? I thought that the close up reminded me of the soft features from the "Paper Man" short. LOVE IT!
Honestly, thanks to this online community right here, I am falling so deep and hard in love with this movie and we haven't even seen, heard, or learned anything truly substantial about it. Gah! Belle was my childhood favorite. Tiana became my adulthood favorite. Anna could be a game changer...though she seriously has competition. Same goes for Elsa. Maleficent was my childhood FAVORITE. Adulthood made me fall in love with Grimhilde. And now Elsa...I already imagine her getting dirty looks in passing from those other two in the hallway of my mind. Elsa is SO STUNNING and I am already a fan.

This was on the disney store collector items Facebook page "Presale in October for LE Anna doll from frozen for 99.50 she will be released November also they will have a deluxe doll pack and a toddler animators doll for the movie save your money!!!!! Frozen in November♥" (don't know how to link from my phone)

Thanks for sharing Mali! So Elsa will probably be the surprise release then. I'm so happy and excited for TLM and Frozen dolls, but at the same time I really wish these weren't being released so close together. I can't help but find it ironic that the dolls I want most from the LE line are being released at almost the same time. Then there's the Designer Couples dolls too. Seriously what is wrong with Disney? Who releases that many expensive items that close together and then does nothing for the rest of the year!?! Most people can't afford to spend that kind of money in such a short period of time.
