Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
So jealous!!! Not sure why the US didn't get them yet and the UK already has them. But oh well gives me time to recover from all the LE dolls!

I love that they made toddler Elsa bigger than toddler Anna to reflect the age difference. I've been staring at side by side pix to figure out what's bigger but I think everything is slightly stretched on Elsa. I can't wait for them to hit Canada.

Anna is adorable! Kind of wish they had done something else with Elsa's hair. Not too thrilled with it, but since I collect the 16" dolls, I will end up buying her anyway.

Did anybody noticed the JCP Disney store version of the frozen merch & dolls? There's a couple of differences between the dolls. I mean I prefer the Disney store ones but any thoughts with JCP VS. Disney store versions?

Example of the Elsa Doll:

The JCP dolls are less detailed. I prefer the DS dolls.

Here are the promo pics for the singing dolls. Elsa's arms/hands are blue.

I'm personally not a big fan of Elsa. I'll be getting Anna though...

My local jcp has not gotten the frozen dolls in yet but I would like to grab the girls. I am not too thrilled with the articulation so I have a plan to put the heads on obitsu bodies so the cheaper, less articulated jcp dolls are a good alternative for me. I dont really want to pop the heads off of my first release girls :<

I quite like the look of the singing dolls! I love the way elsa looks like shes giggling and Anna is quite pretty. Would be nice if they had wrist joints

Have to give it to Disney. They gotten better rendering their 3D characters to figure/doll form! From this picture I feel that Elsa is missing the slit in her dress. Other than that, I'd love to display her in a cool dynamic fighting pose! BTW I love the Disney store version best!

Oh wow! I'm very impressed with the singing dolls! Not sure how I feel about the blue hands/arms for Elsa (I get what they're going for but don't care for it I think), but I'll definitely be picking these up!

Definitely agree with you. I haven't bought any Rapunzel doll because I just think they cannot get her face right at ALL. But these dolls - comparing them to the movie character - are practically spot on!

Hi guys, LE dolls have been confirmed, both Anna and Elsa will be 2,500 and I believe will be sold separately and not as a set.

Did you hear that? That's my bank account and wallet sobbing in the background lol. Hope I can get both otherwise I'll just get Elsa. Thanks for the info!

Where did you hear this from? 2500 seems awfully low for LE princess dolls even though the movie hasn't been released yet and a result not everyone knows about it.

Do you have a source confirming that?

Thankfully Anna doesn't seem that popular. I have a chance of getting her. Elsa seems to be the popular one. Kind of glad I don't need her.

Yes the information is from a reliable source and provided information to verify it, they did however state that they wanted to remain anonymous. I believe more information is being sought so hopefully we will have more information this week.

That is a fair point that it is a low edition size but if you do think about it, last year Calhoun was only 1,000 and Merida and Elinor were 2,500 so I am not surprised that they only did 2,500 of each doll because that is still a total of 5,000 dolls at the end of the year compared to the 3,500 they did last year.

Also technically because we have always seen them as sisters and being marketed as a pair I dont find it odd that they also shared the usual 5,000 edition size between them. I just hope we can get more information soon.

Upcoming releases:
Anna – CONFIRMED to be released soon, not sure on release date as of yet but will have an LE size of 2,500. Doll expected to be available in Nov 2013 to coincide with the release of the movie in cinemas.
Elsa – CONFIRMED to be released soon, not sure on release date as of yet but will have an LE size of 2,500. Doll expected to be available in Nov 2013 to coincide with the release of the movie in cinemas.

As both dolls have their own edition size I would assume that they are going to be sold separately and not together as a set.

Seriously! Why do they do this?! Luckily a lot of people won't be interested in these 2 at first, as most of them only buy these pricey dolls once they fell for the character or are "conected with them". But still, LE Merida got an edition size of 7000 and the doll was released at the same time as the movie. I have a feeling both will have their price elevated on the Secondary Market once they're long gone. By the time people have watched Frozen, they will love the characters and will want to buy the dolls, but by then they will be sold out. I think an edition size of 5000 of each would have been a more fitted number but oh well, as long as real collectors like us get them, we shouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to learn more!

I don't think 2,500 is too low for these dolls. I'm sure we'll have a shot at getting them. I was going to say what Polaris already said about Calhoun. I camped out for her and was the only one in line (since there was this same panic about her on here this time last year). She was still available a couple days later in all my local stores.

Yeah, these dolls will probably sell better than she did, but that's why there are two-and-a-half times as many being produced.

As for the singing dolls, I love Elsa's blue hands, and I'd bet most of us will like them a lot more after we've seen the movie and can make the connection. They look really cool. At least they match the blue of her dress better than the pix from D23.

Man, I will definitely remember 2013 as the year Disney bankrupted me... :(

I think 2,500 is very low for our next princess. Unless it is a two pack. Calhoun I can understand being low as she is not a princess. Merida and Elinor were low because it was a set and we already had Merida by herself. I would have made Anna and Elsa limited to 5000 or 6000 just like all the other princesses have been. However, I agree that they will not be hard for us collectors to get. It's going to be all the collectors who don't follow releases or who wait to see a movie before collecting who might miss out. And all the parents who get them for their kids (some of those kids are collectors and deserve a beautiful doll just as much as adult collectors).
