I went to the Disney store last night, and asked about the Frozen animator dolls, and the CM said they were only being released in the UK and not the US!! PLEASE someone tell me that she was wrong. I am devistated.

:eek: I hope she was wrong too. I don't know how that can be. Hopefully we'll just get them late?

That is also what they said about the LE Mother Gothel doll. They will be released in the US market eventually. It's just that all releases of new/high demand merchandise is specifically planned in order to balance profits and get the quarters to end or begin with good profitability.
 
Yah, there is no reason for them not to release the dolls here......I'm not sure why a CM would say that..........my CM's told me they should be here either really late this month or next month.

I have a feeling they will be released around the same time that the LE preorders are going to be released.
ie when the second lot of froEn merchandise is released.

SO the parks now have Frozen stuff! At world of disney in wdw we have a ton like the disney store dolls, magiclip sets, disney parks costumes for Anna (her dressy dress) and Elsa (sparkle blue dress) also crowns, wigs, a cute picture frame, a pen, Sven and Olaf plush, a magnetic dress up book and more! I want it all!

Today, I unboxed a few new items, they are already on DS.COM but they were new in store...
elsa light up wig, cups, tumblers, and place mats!...

I have theories on whether Anna will appear in the parks in her coronation dress at some point because the dresses that we sell in the parks are meant to be a direct relation to the dresses the princesses in the parks wear. Also I prefer the Disney Store Elsa costume :/

:like: Very true. But the first promo image we have of the face characters has Anna in her snow dress. Interesting.... :cool:

anna's coronation dress and flower tiara are so cuteee!!
I think it's neat they designed costumes for both her winter outfit and her dress.
Elsa's cape looks like it has more of an all over snowflake pattern as opposed to the geometric design on the DS one. And the skirt looks a little frostier.
 
Stitch Kingdom just posted of FB that the next wave of Frozen merchandise should hit Oct 28!!!!!!!!!!!! However, they also said not to expect the toddler dolls until the movie is released ><

Wow thanks for sharing that information! I wouldn't be surprised if the LE doll preorders were released then as well. So maybe the LEs go on preorder on the 28th of October for release mid-late November and when they are released that is when the toddler dolls will be released as well? I just find it odd that the toddler dolls were released so early in the UK and yet they wont be coming out in the US until November?

Is there any information or speculation regarding whether or not the dolls will be available for pre-order at the same time? Or if there will even be a pre-order (per a Merida-type release)? Or if one will come later/closer to dvd release? I really want them (or at least one) so I'm just trying to financially plan :lol:
 
No spoilers. I promise. I should have known better, and, in reality, it doesn't really bother me, but I know everything that happens in Frozen now. My husband and I were in Barnes and Noble today. I found a Frozen coloring book, and it basically told the entire story. I kept turning the pages and before you know it, I knew everything. At the same time, a little girl (3 or 4) whose mom was carrying on discussion with clerk was showing me her book. She told me Ariel was her favorite princess. We basically carried on a discussion about the princesses until the mom dragged her away. LOL.

Anyway, stay clear of coloring books if you don't want spoilers about Frozen. :lol:

Actually this would apply to just about any Frozen books. ;)

Right?! That's how the ending to Tangled was "cut short" for me. ;) I was in the Disney Store and some little girl was holding up the story book and (of course) that scene took up both of the two huge pages. GAH! ;)

Well I have been told that both dolls have display dolls and apparently Disney Store only ever makes display dolls for dolls that they are putting up for preorder, for example, Ariel had the display doll so that people could preorder her back in July for the October release. However Ursula and Eric did not have display dolls, instead they were just released on the floor as stock. So because there are display dolls for both Anna and Elsa there is a chance that we could be getting both as preorders.

Please note that whilst I have been informed about the display dolls I cannot confirm that it will be the case where both will be released as preorders this is purely just based on what has been done historically.

I wonder if the animated toddler dolls to Frozen, are considered a spoiler?? I never understood with Brave, they released Elinor after the brothers??? Anyone with common sense was able to figure it out one the triplets were released...Even though clearly, they were holding back that merch for spoiler reasons for he story of brave.
