Hi everyone:-) I just wanted to say thank you for making this thread! I've been sending email links to my hubby for about a week now from these posts/links to get him to let me collect Frozen merchandise...I'm still working on him but you are helping me turn him around lol. See i started when he went on his first deployment in 2011 as a way to cope with being alone..now, two deployments later, he says its a space issue...I've already taken over a bedroom and part of office so I understand but letting him see I'm not the only one passionate about Disney collections is awesome! Thanks everyone:-)
 
Ok, well if they are already creating the links then that means they are coming soon!!! So excited! However, I really wanted Anna in her snow outfit....I love that outfit. But I will still have to have her no matter what! May be if they are doing both dolls as pre-orders may be they will be doing more surprise dolls when they release the movie to dvd!!! I can only hope!
 
Hi, guys! I was able to go to my Disney Store yesterday and I felt like a VIP ^^. Though singing Elsa and the Deluxe set had arrived, they weren't out on the floor yet but they sold them to me :D. Also bought Toddler Elsa. I had my doubts about buying them but wow when I saw singing Elsa I was shocked. Her size (which I knew but is different once your holding her), beautiful face, big detailed eyes, expression, perfect long blond hair. Of course the blue arms (which I wasn't sure if I would like in person) but yes yes yes. I like she still has elbow articulation. She glows!!! Would I have liked more detail on her dress? Now, not really because it would take away from her face and glowing arms :) ( less glitter, yay! ). And it gives me the chance to decorate it myself hehe.....

I haven't de-boxed her yet! might wait till Christmas ^^. It's so funny she is sensitive to light changes, for me is not so much about waving in front of her. Could be a battery thing. Easy to turn her off through the front circle opening, I feel the switch under her dress.

AHH!! I can't wait! I know it has been said before that the edition size was small, but I feel slightly more concerned about my chances.

Hi guys as mentioned by ladyroselie there are no images at all just the description. What she has posted above is exactly what you will see with the links. This is how we were able to verify the edition size and what the dolls are potentially going to be wearing.

Just so you all know I mentioned earlier the Frozen merchandise is getting another release on Oct 28 and there is a very strong possibility that the LEs will be released on this date. Be it in the form of a preorder or to purchase the actual doll. Either way I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Store blog as they usually release information on there several days before a release. However if this is in fact a surprise release then there will not be any information released so you should just keep an eye on the site on the 28th.

Also guys, whilst this is a low edition size I do not think it will sell out as quickly as Ursula and Eric (dont forget it is still 500 units more than Ursula which is a lot) because you will find a lot of people will not be as interested in the characters as they are relatively new so you can probably relax a bit, so long as if you are there on the night of release you should be able to get one.

Okay, here's my Singing Elsa Video :D
I prefer this Elsa over the $30 Mattel version. Disney's is more movie accurate, taller, and w/removable clothes. Prefer the cool glowing arms over the glowing chest ^^.

I also purchased Toddler Elsa, she is soooooo adorable. They had Anna too, she will come home with me later ^^. I looked and looked for the one that would have longer fuller bangs, a longer braid and even dress hehe.... Only thing her box has some little marks but should come off no problem once I get to it, but she looks perfect to me. Tights and cute little shoes! Same, Toddler Disney's are more movie accurate. Though I like Anna's dress on Mattel's Disney Frozen Toddler 2 Pack w/Olaf.

And about the Large Plush Dolls of them with the plastic heads, yeah they don't look right in person (I'll try to get a pic of them next time I go to my Target), they seem to be starring at a pimple on their nose. :P

Their wearing flats, unsure if they have heads full of hair (will check soon). I do think Mattel got it right with Anna's necklace & upper dress designs :). But Disney's are more movie accurate.

I like everything about it, of course if it was cheaper would be way better :) The way I look at it is I would be willing to pay $35 -$40 for just the dolls in their alternate outfits(making them some what exclusive). When the Classic version dolls are $16.95 for each before tax. Then $10 for 2 extra dress (less glitter on Elsas's dress :D, Anna's seems to be the same minus the winter accessories). I really like the dressforms, so $10 for both, and last $10 for the screen which is hard plastic and well decorated and the chest trunk which I reeeeally like (it opens). And of course I like the box to display more dolls, either the guys or the girls other doll versions :D.

Also looking forward to the Castle (the screen seems to be of cardboard though) which I'll use it on the snowflakes side. Waiting for some reviews hehe... hoping for sturdy plastic. Not sure where I'm going to put it lol but me wants it hahaha...


Catching up with thread, I love all pics and videos posted. Thank you all for the info provided. And as all of you also hoping for some soon LE pics ^^. I also think Anna could be in her coronation gown and Elsa in her blue ice gown. What I like from reading their description is the details like: velvet bodice for Anna & the hair ribbons, sparkly embroidered patterns & rhinestone snowflakes. UUhhhh picturing it @_@!

Even though we only have the descriptions, I'm excited! This looks like the UK description page... are they usually different from the US DS page? I was just wondering because it says "collector's display box" and the US version always mentions the window display box. So I was just wondering if these would be packaged differently like Calhoun or if they would be in classic 17" LE packaging... Hmmmm

You guys are too smart for your own good!
Personally I think Anna is much better looking than Elsa, from what I could see. But that is just my personal opinion, and I saw them from a good distance.

I really think that coronation gift set is such a rip off though, at $70 :( I hope it goes down in price! I would like to suggest to anyone looking to buy it that they will most likely make coronation outfit packs for the classic dolls later on, so I would hold out for the cheaper option, unless you have your heart set on the trunk and dressing screen accessories!
