Maybe this is going to sound stuck up, but I don't think I'd buy any non-DS toys. They've got the best quality and toy designs.

its not stuck up, it makes total sense! I purchased the JCP toddler Anna doll because it was $12 and I am going to let my 2 year old play with it. for myself, I am only purchasing DS stuff. they are much higher quality and the look is better.

I stopped buying Mattel Disney dolls in the early 2000's when DS started making better dolls, now I'll only buy from DS! Best face molds, true-to-character dolls (for the most part).... I truly think Disney stuff sold in most stores nowadays are just too sad looking and usually have funky faces :/

My local DS had all this new Frozen stuff today!! The mini dolls set, toddler dolls, 17in singing dolls, Anna and Kristoff sleigh play set, and the DELUXE DOLL GIFTSET (coronation dresses). It was $70 tho! For two dolls and some odd trinkets! Gonna have to wait for a sale on that one...

What!!! $70 for the Deluxe Doll set?! I think DS is really abussing this time! When the Little Mermaid Giftset was released, I was unhappy with the price tag of $80, but still bought since I thought it was somewhat fair because we were getting 5 dolls. This time around we are only getting 2 dolls, and they are asking for $70! It's crazy! The price would have been alright if they had added Hans and Kristoff.

Well, at least they are still making quality products. But the prices do seem to keep going up and up. The good part is that unless it is LE you can always find things on sale at least once. I'll be picking up all my Frozen things on Black Friday, there is sure to be a good sale and they won't completely sell out of anything until the Blu-ray is released.

I don't remember if it was this thread or another one where we were talking about face characters.. But I saw a picture of Anna FC in the coronation dress today I think she might greet in the parks in that dress at some point. Especially since the parks Anna costume is the coronation dress.

I'm still missing the mini doll, a couple (?) of figures, and the standee (and who knows what else...). All of the sets are killing me though when most of the time I just want Kristoff and Sven. :facepalm:

Yeah I didn't notice the difference until I put them side by side. The good thing about Kristoff is that he's more manageable. The bad...well...see comment below :lol:

As do I. When I was at the D23 Expo I bought one of everything Frozen. Then when the first wave of merch hit last month, I went crazy again. But in reality I can't afford everything, so I have to scale back. I'm focusing on the things I love most. Right now that's Kristoff & Sven. But I absolutely love Elsa and Anna's coronation dresses, so I'm thinking of collecting all of the different versions of those dresses... I don't know how to stop!! I wish I didn't love everything. :facepalm:

Guess who I got today!!! My DS in VA had the toddler dolls in! So I brought baby!Anna and Baby!Elsa home with me, and they are so darling! Elsa is just the ittiest bit taller than Anna, and her freckles are kind weird, but Anna's freckles are super-natural, and their dresses match, which I stupidly did not realize until I opened the box, and they have that same little smile, and they are just the cutest damn things! <3

Unfortunately she has a motion sensor, instead of a heat sensor on the hand. This means that in order to make her stop, you have to take her out and turn her off, otherwise she will sing anytime there is the slightest movement She starts singing by pulling a pull tab on the back of the box, so in the store, if one isn't singing, that is why. Please do not pull the pull tab out unless there are no others without the pull tab missing! The CMs will go insane!

I only bought this doll because of my discount. If I didn't have the discount, I wouldn't have coughed up the money. I don't think she is worth $40.

Hi guys, just got info from a very strong lead that there is a very high chance that something big (Frozen related) will be happening on the 28th of Oct, be it the release of the second wave of merchandise, the release of the LE preorders or the release of more info on the LEs. So i would keep a close eye on the Disney Store blog as they should announce something on there a couple of days before hand. Unless of course it really is a surprise release.

Thanks for posting the links jenniseny, shame that the image links dont work! But it definitely is now confirmed that the edition size is 2500 but based on the description anyone have any idea as to what costumes the dolls will be in?

I was thinking the same, From the sounds of it Elsa will be in her blue dress but Anna sounds like she might be in her coronation dress??
