Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
I kind of see the LE Harrods dolls as a different collector's line. I like things to be uniform and matching and for some reason I don't like the Harrods on the back. I live on the west coast and Harrods honestly means nothing to me. I have been thinking about this all day and I prefer consistency in my boxes and am fine with the separate LE 2500 dolls with name on them that I care about, Disney. Also, no offense intended, but I would rather worry about something relatively unimportant, such as dolls, than drown myself in the problems of the world. Those of us in the "first world" have our own problems and Disney can be an escape from the difficulties of our own lives. Please don't assume that because we live in a first world country that life is easy. Disney and collecting brings joy to peoples' lives and it is unfair to make people feel bad by poking fun with comments about "first world," countries. Sorry everyone, I just don't think the comments are kind or fair and if people don't like our discussion, they really should move on to something else. Anyways, I am very excited about the Frozen dolls and completely happy with the less fancy larger edition size dolls. :)

I agree with everything that you said and appreciate the way you put it. I believe that it is also about respecting others and their right to say what they want to on the forum so long as if it doesn't offend others. I also like the way you view these Harrod exclusive LE dolls haha. Makes me feel better about missing out on them :) so thanks for that haha.

I saw Anna & Elsa today at Epcot!! They are sooo cute, I LOVE Elsa's costume, it is gorgeous! It just made me that much more excited for the movie and the dolls. We are going back in a couple of days, must take my camera so that I can share some photos.

As for the dolls. I think the LE 100 set is gorgeous, but I am not going to lose sleep over them, I will be more than happy with the single LE dolls. As much as I love to have complete sets too, I can't justify that price. I really can't wait to have these Frozen dolls, they are gorgeous!! I just know this movie will be fantastic ♥

That's awesome! I hope they're still there when I go there in January for my birthday.

Disney is my escape. We all have things to deal with in our lives and Disney is my happy place and what helps me get through tough days. This may be silly for some, but to me it's not. Doll collecting provides the same satisfaction. I don't understand why this is silly or exaggerated behavior for some people. Disney = happiness, let's keep the mood happy too ♥ :)

Well said. Not only do many of us collect dolls as an escape, but also the way things come out in "type" aren't always a good representation of how one may really feel. I might sound like the world is coming to an end on here because when on this site dolls and collecting are my focus but when I sign off its business as usual.

More importantly I totally dig the regular LEs and CANNOT wait to get Anna. Heck I love my classic collection dolls and can't decide if I should get a boy as a prize for myself for some big achievements last week or Elsa. Anna come home a few weeks ago.

They will be out for a couple of months so you should be able to see them! The girls playing them are amazing. Anna is adorable and the girl playing Elsa looked just like her! I was so excited the cast members were thrilled to see me all hyper, it was funny.

Now that I've seen the better quality photos I personally prefer the LE 2500 versions. All of the snowflakes on LE 100 Elsa look too busy. The individual boxes also have better designs than the set box. The LE 100 set really isn't worth the money at all. Plus the set doesn't work very well with Anna in her coronation dress (Summer) and Elsa in her Snow Queen dress (Winter). Had they done Anna in her snow gear and Elsa in her Snow Queen dress or both sisters in their coronation dresses then the set would have made sense. Plus I personally prefer dolls in their own boxes over sets (unless it's a romantic pairing like the DFDC sets).

I was upset after seeing the set for about five minutes and got over it pretty quickly. I agree that I see them as a completely different line even if they are the same doll. Ultimately, I am grateful they aren't in different outfits at that price because I would be very disheartened by it. I want to become a completist someday (just started doll collecting last year) but the set is something I won't miss, since I will virtually have the same dolls in seperate boxes which have such cool designs in them! Plus, it would be weird to me to have coronation Anna who is all dressed for Summer and Snow Queen Elsa obviously dressed in ice together. It is kind of cool to me how they are in seperate boxes, just like the seperate worlds they are in! I put these dolls on shelves and curio cabinets, so besides the obvious fact that I know they aren't boxed together, I won't be sitting on the couch crying and thinking "Wow, if only I'd gotten the Harrod's set, I'd probably be able to see that crystal on Elsa's left shoulder from here." Ultimately, both sets are beautiful, and the best part about them is that they are virtually the same!!! Granted, I agree that it kind of makes them out of 2600 instead of 2500, but oh well. People will buy the for their collections or scalpers will buy them, such is life. I hope they just don't make this a huge trend though, or if they do to at least make it more accessible to a wider audience. No offense to the UK, but I'm not sure if a UK based boutique would have been as smart as one in the U.S. since I do believe the market is larger over here, I just don't know where they would release it... maybe Times Square Disney Store? Part of me is still really hoping for more releases during the DVD/Bluray release of either the two men or the opposite outfits for our gals. I'm really really really looking forward to the movie and have stayed away from all spoilers this far (except the obvious ones... :P)

I wonder if I should stay up tonight to see what Disney releases for tomorrow. Did anyone get a date for when the Frozen jumbo pin is released in the US?

I will be checking to see what may be released tonight. Hopefully we do get the pin but it is doubtful, dont think there will be much released tonight as it looks like they delayed the release for the dolls so may do the same for the rest of the items that were expected to be released today.

That was way too fast, cant believe it sold out in seconds. I guess pin collecting is by far worse than doll collecting! Haha
