To all,

I am new to the forum but I find myself getting frustrated already. I have sent out several PM's asking people if they want to trade. I know I don't have as many pins as some of you and my feelings won't be hurt if people don't want to trade. It would be nice though to at least get a response. A simple "No thank you, I don't want to trade" is good enough. If someone asked me to trade, I certainly wouldn't ignore them. I hope I haven't offended anyone but what's the point of even trying to trade?

I understand your frustration. I'm going through a similar situation only I am wanting to purchase a grail. I agree, a simple reply is the polite thing to do! However, sometimes people check their messages in a rush or on the go, and forget that they had a new message they had to reply to It is always good to give people the benefit of the doubt! I think you'll find most members here are very friendly and will love to trade with you, so keep trying!!

do not get frustrated alot of members could be working and cannot get on dpf or do not have access to it from work,also some private messages have been takin awhile to get notices from dpf in their regular email that they have a message here to read ,also did you add a read receipt to your messages ,if so you can check your notices and see if they were read at all,if so maybe the member is looking over the request you sent to them and they will get back to you with a no thank you,let me get back to you later or counter offer,plus you have no feedback yet on dpf,some members get cautious about that as well,give it awhile and see what happens,I am sure you will get a response soon.judy
 
Thanks Judy and ElysionsPrincess. I did not add a read receipt. I can do that in the future. I know I don't have feedback yet but we all have to start somewhere. I appreciate all the good advice.

if I had trade matches to your wants I would trade ASAP,sometimes I do a mystery trade with newbies just to get them started along,if you ever want to just let me know,look at my feedback ..you will get there for sure
 
It's happened very few times here, but it's definitely not often. I'm fairly new and have been welcomed mostly Now on pinpics that's a separate issue altogether

I understand your frustration! I don't have marvelous traders, so I have a tough time as well. I don't have any of your listed wants, and vice versa, but I'd be happy to help you get some feedback built up by doing a trade.

I understand your frustration too! I always appreciate when I at least get a "No thanks, I'm going to pass" on trade requests...at least I know I did it right lol. I am a new-ish trader myself, so it's hard when I know I just don't HAVE the kind of fantastic pins people want (YET!). Hang in there
