Gnoming Around the World Game (...and here we go!)

Okay everyone! Here is Mickey and his trip around LA. He was taken for a whirlwind adventure and was wined and dined.
This is the picture I'm entering. It's Mickey in one of my favorite areas in LA- Downtown! The building on the left is the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion where LA Opera hosts their operas. Then the silver building next to that is the Disney Concert Hall where they have some great performances (better picture below), and to the left of that is, of course, some of the famous buildings that make downtown so iconic. Mickey is a little blurry in the picture (as well as the ones down below) because I have no idea how to focus correctly :( My apologies.
And he's off to meet Kupo1121 in Jersey!

Before we left LA, Mickey wanted to audition for "So You Think You Can Dance" but I talked him out of it. My feet were hurting already.

Team Mickey, please remember that we are allowed to post only ONE picture!! I think you can prolly include a link to your photobucket if you want the other pics to be seen, but only one picture can be posted in the thread.
 
I read the instructions and it said you can submit only one picture for the contest but it doesn't say that you can't post others for fun. I noted on my first picture that it is my entry picture and the others are for just looking at. If I misunderstood, I would like for one of the game creators to let me know and I will quickly take them down. I don't see why we can't enjoy other pictures as long as it has our gnome in them. I really like seeing where else the gnome goes.

This question was asked (I forget who originally asked) and answered by Pin-A-Colada in one of the first few pages of this thread. It came up again when Hollie posted her UK pics, and I quoted Pin-A-Colada's reply. I feel like its not quite fair to those who adhered to the rules of only one picture.

You are correct you post one picture for this competition and other's can be posted for fun, great job. We will only judge the picture submitted for this competition but thank you Chroll for bring up the issue. Also there will be a surprise Frozen pin added for one pre-assigned prize pack, (hint: it is not the princess prize pack)!

The question on post #81 asked if they could post multiple pictures (for the competition) and per the rules only one picture can be posted for the competition. There is no harm in a DPF member showing us their city and country. Remember that this not only a game but also a way of of us DPF members seeing the world through a traveling Gnome. Let's have fun with this.

Thanks for the clarification. I had so much fun with my husband and I had so many people look at me funny while taking the pictures that I just wanted to share them all! It was great fun and I hope you come up with more fun games!
 
Gnome Donald just arrived today, Yay! We are going to have some awesome fun. Thank you Alyssa for the awesome zap of the UK Aurora hinged mirror pin, it is soooo pretty. That pin looks so much better in person. I love it. Now off to go galavant around town!
 
So, I had a nice time with Erin on my trip to Riverside, CA. The best part was when she took me to her job at the movie theatre and showed me around. I got to tour the theatre and got to see how everything works behind the scenes. We also got to see the movie Frozen too...which was a really great movie and I love, loVE LOVED it!!! The songs were awesome, now I have to get it on DVD. I decided to take a pic in the hallway of the theatre, right next to the poster advertising the new movie Maleficent, which will be out in the theatres real soon. Can't wait for that one, woo hoo! This is the pic I am entering for the contest, hope you all like it.


I will be on my way to JHari16(Jacob) tomorrow and am really excited to see what new adventures he will take me on. This next pic is a close up of the Maleficent poster(not for contest). I just had to share it with you because it is sooo awesome!

Hehe, Thanks Alyssa! Sorry that I couldn't figure it out, Donald thought that San Jose would be sunny but it's the one rainy day that we had in a while and we definitely needed it! He wanted to go to the Egyptian Museum here but that'll have to wait until next time! He decided to hang out with a dwarf at the cottage, unfortunately the rest were out mining so Dopey decided to cook a little something for Donald. Donald will be on the usps train tomorrow morning! GO TEAM DONALD!
