I actually have a question about this. Are newly released pins like this available anywhere other than the stores? Can I get them online?

No, these pins are only sold in the stores. If they don't sell out (not likely) you should then be able to order them via Delivears. But you won't get to pick your scene and someone may correct me if I'm wrong but you have to wait a month I think before you can request it. It may be less but i think it's a month.
