I have only ever done one other auction here before and I may have a chance to do another. The pin in question is this pin...

Pin 40442: Disney Auctions - New Classics ( Beauty and The Beast )

I'm trying to get a feel for if this is worth auctioning. The reason I'm hesitant is mainly because really, my pin wants are not all that high (fault there is totally on my end, I'm a bit pin picky and ... yeah... I'm ashamed to admit it but it's true...). Basically I'm after The Little Mermaid pins on a whole. I like NBC pins too but my current goal is to really complete my collection of my wanted Ariel pins (I'm also trying to knock out my PinPics "wants" list since it pretty much never changes TOO much). I know that's being a bit difficult (I'm sorry -_-; ).. so ... that's why I wanted to ask here first before auctioning. Thanks guys ^^

I would bid on the pin but I have nothing that matches the value of the pin. Good luck if you do auction it!

Thanks for the response! I'm not really concerned with matching value TOO much to be honest. I mean... if someone had say two good Ariel pins that I really wanted but they didn't match the value on this particular pin, I'd still be very, very tempted and would definitely consider it along with other bids

Er, I should also note it isn't STRICTLY Ariel either. She's just my main focus right now...but really, anything on my PinPics wants list is worth consideration

I don't have any decent Ariel pins nor NBC and I have nothing on you wants

grrrr, I love that BatB pin, only BatB pin I know of now that I want that isn't part of a larger set haha xD

Kupo, I just adore you - you always have the best animated gifs to match the response xD If I do decide to go through with an auction, I'd still urge you to try and bid. Just because a pin isn't on my wants list doesn't mean I'd be like "OH ABSOLUTELY NOT!!" I'm always willing to consider cute pins! I'm a fan of Disney dogs too ;D

I'd love this. But I'm so in love with my Ariels I wouldn't know which one to part with to bid!
I feel ya... I can't part with any of mine. I've tried before and ultimately I end up at "Nope...nope. Just can't do it" D:

I agree that I would also bid on it.... if I had anything to bid that is worthy of course  Bc let's face it Aquata u and I have very similar tastes when it comes to pins lol

Yes... we do. You're my "Pin Twin" in terms of pin tastes xD
You find pins that I didn't even think I would like but when I see them in person I'm like "OMG WHA-!? TOO CUTE!! WANT!" Case in point...? Wendy with the Mermaids *points to updated PinPics "Wants" list*

I like this pin a lot. I would bid but have nothing on your wants either

Yeah, I was worried this would be the problem and like I said, totally my fault. I'm working on adding some more but my PinPics list is also my personal "To Buy" pin list so I'm always hesitant of letting it get too big and out of hand X_X

Aquata, I totally know what you mean about being picky! I am the same way and I can't help it! I just have a particular way of arranging each of my pages, and it's hard for me to explain exactly what I'm looking for. And I also am kind of compulsive with my want list and will trim it down when I think I'm doing too much buying or searching and being tempted to buy ~.~

Having said that, I think if it were me I would just try putting it up for trade rather than confine yourself to a trade auction. I'm sure a lot of people will be interested in it, but the bids may either not be what you are looking for or too few because people aren't sure if they have what you want/need.

I hope this helps a little! As a side note, I absolutely adore that pin and it would be on my want list if it weren't for the fact that I know it's out of my reach (It came off in one of Story's aforementioned "Want List Intervention" Trimmings... seeing it again tho will probably make me put it back in there. :lol

LOL that's how I feel with ur collection too! haha

Yes i didn't know the wendy with the mermaids was an actual pins until I saw it in a traders book at DLR. I went home and bought it off ebay immediately XD

I would bid and have some pins on your wants list for a change. Or if you would rather just trade I can do that also!!!

Why don't you offer it up in the trade forum.... that way there's no time limit, and no pressure. You never know what you might get
Agree with his ... It really sounds like you're more suited for a trade thread. Give that a run first (or just pm David :drool and take the pressure off.

I only have a couple of Ariel pins, not on your wants list, but also not on your owns list...hmmm

But I would totally be interested in trading!

Hey everyone! Thanks for all the advice! (Sorry I passed out last night xD) I think that I will wind up listing it in the trade forum and when I do, I will bump this topic to notify everyone. Sounds like that's the way to go as opposed to an auction judging from people's advice
