I'm so excited to finally see these new designer dolls. The Rapunzel/Gothel set is the one I have my eye on.

I think the Rapunzel/Gothel and Snow White/Witch sets look the best. Gothel and Rapunzel both look gorgeous. I love the color contrast of their dresses and the embroidery. I also love how Gothel is clutching the hair. Snow White is almost perfect. If she had heels she would be flawless. The witch looks amazing. I love her outfit. The colors are great and the basket of apples is a great touch. The witch and Gothel are the standouts for me.

Ariel and Ursula are ok. I like Ursula's articulation and her tentacles. Ariel is pretty, I love her tail, but the top is kind of weird. Peter Pan and Hook look good. Elsa and Hans are blah imo.

Thank you! I'll be in Disney during the first set release - so I'll be up at 3:00am in my hotel room shopping on the Disney Store's website - while at Disney....yeah, I'm obsessed! LOL.
I was in Disney on my wedding/honeymoon trip when Aurora/Phillip were released and there was no way I was going to stay up until 3am after being at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party until midnight. I had a friend pick them up for me instead.

I wish I could buy The Hag all by herself!!!! I LOVE her but don't really care for Snow White!

If you really want her and don't care about de-boxing the dolls, you can always sell off Snow White to someone who likes to customize the dolls. I personally look for loose dolls like that fairly regularly and if I saw a loose Snow White for a decent price I'd certainly add it to my watch list. She's not the most popular of the dolls, but there are plenty of people willing to pay for that. Dolls clothes are expensive and they alone would sell to someone wanting them for another type of doll that they may fit well enough, like a Pullip. You can check out Ebay sold items and see how much some of the outfits are going for to get an idea. You probably wouldn't have to go through Ebay to sell it. I'm not sure what you'd get for her, but you can figure out what the Hag and case are worth to you and see if you can get the difference for Snow White.

Wow, I am so excited for this set, and I didn't think I wanted but a couple of them. Now I think I might try to preorder the whole set! For those who have done that in the past, is it just as crazy as ordering any doll online,as far as selling out quickly?

I really want the D23 Hans <3 I could care less about Elsa though from either set. I'll probably try for the release at my Disney store for them and then try to trade or sell Elsa to someone who would appreciate her more.

I am very pleased with this set. The Rapunzel/Gothel set is by far my favorite with Peter Pan/Hook being my second favorite. I'm not completely sold on Hans/Elsa, but I will probably get them too. I think Snow White is super cute, but I don't like the Hag so I won't get the set. Finally, I think Ariel/Ursula is the weakest of the set though. My wallet is going to cry. Between a trip to Disney World, two, possibly three DFDC sets, and possibly three other Aladdin LE dolls (Red Jasmine, Aladdin, Jafar) all within a span of two months, my wallet is going to be sucked dry! Maybe I can convince my husband to get me a couple of the dolls as a wedding anniversary gift since our anniversary is in October. lol

Pictures of the pins have leaked. I posted it over in the thread on the Pin Discussions board.
(Don't want to cross post pins onto the Other Collectables thread!)

Wow, this Designer Fairytale set is nicer than the previous two years. Maybe it's the fun combination of adding the Villains in. While there's bound to seem like there's some rehashing (it is the third year in a row for Designer Princesses) I like this set more. I also thought Elsa looked like her classic doll until I saw the comparison photos, they are different, better clothing quality and overall look. I LOVE that they made a doll of The Witch!! I would buy that doll on its own. And Hook and Peter Pan are a big surprise. It's great to see they took a chance and made this set, and it seems like people really like it.

I definitely think this series will continue next year with Cinderella(Pink Dress)/Lady Tremaine, Belle/Gaston, Aurora(Blue Dress)/Maleficent, Jasmine (Or Aladdin)/Jafar and one new couple set we won't expect like with Hook and Peter Pan.

The release order might be the same as the order they have them listed in the product description:

"Sets include: Ariel and Ursula, Rapunzel and Mother Gothel, Peter Pan and Captain Hook, Snow White and Witch, and Elsa and Hans"

I was really ooking forward to rapunzel set, i love her face mold, has it changed from her last designer release? I LOVED her outfit in the last release not sure how i feel about this one but i love gothal and how she is holding onto her hair! Im collecting the fairies and i really wanted hook and peter but i think peters face looks a bit weird, but i love the way they look in the box and ive never really been a snow fan but i love her with tha hag and the apples just completes it!

I was planning on just finishing up my collection with the Rapunzel and Elsa sets. When I started collecting the fairytale couples last year, I only planned on getting one version of each fairytale designer for my Disney "ballroom" collection. (I have them "waltzing" in my cabinet) I was hoping for a Merida set too, but fingers crossed for next year right? Now though, my wallet is going to hate me because I cannot pass on the Hag and Ursula. Lol. I mean really???? The Hag!!! I think she is perfect! Now what to do with the duplicate Ariel and Snow White dolls??? Decisions. Decisions...

I also started collecting the fairies so of course I need Hook and Peter. Hope people post pictures from D23; can't wait to see non-stock photos.
Fingers crossed that I can get the entire set and have one night of doll purchase anxiety rather than 5. Yay Doll Season...(and sighs)

I like the look of this set, at first I wasn't thrilled with Hans & Elsa and my first thought was the signing doll. I love that we have the comparison photo because it shows how much nicer this Elsa is.

Im just happy Disney have ventured a little away from a full princess line up this time round and listened to feedback from previous years.

Forgot to add I watched Rapunzel today with my daughter and it reminded me how awesome that film is and I think they've captured Gothel really well.

I've just seen the pic of the Anna & Kristoff "wedding" doll on Instagram so it looks like they were real!! They also have 17" Frozen fever dolls!!!!!

Its the fixer upper scene where Anna is wearing the hat the trolls made for her. This explains why no Hans & Elsa now.
