Heroes & villains collection first look
To the person who said that we only complain about the dolls and that we should be grateful... Take notice that not only is the D23 exclusive Elsa
is an exact miniature version of the 17" version, but so is Anna. So much to the point where her Skirt is made up of 2 pieces... Which the 17" Did. I would not even be surprised if they used the same exact material... Maybe they had extra stock of it lying around...

Why do I complain about this? Because literally every other character in the designer line got at least a little umph on their outfits. These looks like tiny dioramas.
I'm sorry that not many of you got the chance to purchase the first 4 Frozen dolls, but Disney can't just stop and reverse their way back. They need to move along. I wish I started collecting when Mother Gothel was released, but I can't afford her now since she's selling for $800+. I've accepted it and moved on.
And yall need to stop accepting mediocrity because they are "at least" giving you a mini version of something.

Since when has "at least" been the standards for DisneyStore?

Wow those dioramas are absolutely gorgeous!!! If the dolls were sold with those it'd be really hard to pass on all of them.

Can we please talk about how out of the blue it was for Disney to make a designer doll of Minnie Mouse? I love how her artwork and design is really reminiscent of the first designer Princess line! This is the type of stuff I like to see from Disney. I like to see them make things that are out of the ordinary and out of their element. Its just a shame that her, along with the Once and Leia dolls, are all D23 exclusives.

I'm pretty sure they will get released in stores next month. The same goes for things like the compact. They just get early releases at the expo before getting in store releases later on.
Thanks for the reassurance. The D23 sticker always scares me. lol

The first designer fairytale set was sold at D23 & at the disney store (online and in some stores). You should have a shot at getting them when all the merchandise is released.

Does anyone think there will be Notebooks, Cards, and Mugs with the new Heros vs Villans set? Kind of like the previous sets?
(I don't know if this was talked about already.. if it was I'm sorry!) *looking for Rapunzel and Mother Gothel if anyone is selling also* Thank you!!

I love that Ariel mirror! I got the one from the Cinderella live film and it's beautiful so I hope they regularly make these because they are really worth the money. I might move on from dolls to mirrors.....

Ok! Red Jasmine as everyone's calling her is amazing and so looking forward to Jafar. Are there any information of release in UK? Thanks

Red Jasmine is exclusive to D23 so will only be available on the secondary market. No details yet about the others but I'd keep an eye on the other 17" doll thread as thats where the info will be posted. This one is used for the Designer dolls but I expect Disney might announce something as they'll be inundated with these questions.

I agree and I really like the Minnie! Wish there was another way to get her...

I'm not sure about notecards but mugs and journals will be with the collection. They've been with every collection. Notecards have been with every collection but last years so we may see them again as well.

I see that the UK/EU have been allocated 1000 of each doll for the villains set so that's a bit better than the measly 500 of Jasmine.

All the eBay sellers are already listing for 600.00 plus, and I made an offer on one just to see what they would take and the response was they expected over 600.00 or nothing at all

I like how a lot of these look! Snow White and the Hag is exciting, as is Peter and Hook! Look at Disney branching out! I really think Rapunzel and Gothel look great, even if they have a lot of dolls already. I can take or leave Elsa & Hans, as well as Ursula & Ariel. Why is Ursula always a similar size if not smaller than Ariel? What would REALLY get my money is next year if they do an Aurora and Maleficent with a spinning wheel, so that it looks like this image:

A guy can dream, right?

That is my problem with Limited Editions that are far smaller than the demand. You get a lot of people like this who clearly don't even want the doll just sitting on it. It would make a lot more sense to try to make the LE to roughly match about, say, 70% of demand. LEs that sell out in a few days are about right. If you weren't that interested that you didn't pay attention within a few days, then it'll be harder to get, but avid fans would be able to get it. It would make sense to me from all dimensions. Financially, the store would sell more. Fan-wise, fans would know what they had to to do if they REALLY wanted the doll, and it would be within the realm of possibility. Status-wise, the dolls would still be rare and hold and build value over time.

Oh no, is that a purse for the elsa and hans design?

This collection is going to kill me. I haven't been checking my phone this often for merch updates in a long time. Disney knew how to lure me back in >.<

agreed. Its amazing the number of posts I've seen on facebook with I bought these dolls today.... may consider selling... pm me offers... and on ebay the people who note that they were sorcerer ticket holders, and I get that those tickets are expensive, and that they want to recoop their money and time spent in line, you just took away an opportunity for a true fan (and I'm sure that they themselves are a true fan of something there) to have a chance to get the dolls/pins/cards that they really wanted. I just wish people would put themselves on the other side.

I almost bought the elsa hans set on ebay, and then decided that I just wouldn't do it based on principle. I had planned on going but we have a bit of a family emergency going on, and anyone that I reached out to, just to see if they could possible be my personal shopper while they were there wanted the 600 plus price tag for it.
So dissapointing.

Yeah some of the prices people are asking for on eBay are crazy. I would save up to get the Once Upon a Time dolls just because I have been wanting them for so long, but the prices for them are so high that I have pretty much given up any hope of getting them. I could see myself eventually getting the Minnie Mouse designer doll though, seeing her prices aren't too terrible. She is such a unique doll, and I love Mickey and Minnie, so I think she would be worth it.

Oh, and once again, I wish everyone who is going for these dolls on the secondary market the best of luck.

I just realized November third is also a tsum release day... Dear god.

That mug! I am so disappointed with the shape. It doesn't look like the other designer mugs and will look so out of place with the rest of my designer mug collection. I'll still get them though because I'm a sucker for mugs. I'm definitely going to try for that Elsa/Hans bag though!

I cant believe that we don't have more pictures of the merchandise.... Are they banning people from taking images?
