I used the image from the slipcover and removed the background in photoshop. I then enhanced the photo to look sharper and cleaner. After that I then attached it into the collage!

Nice work on the banner! I can't believe how excited I am for MORE Frozen dolls, but I am!

I'm going for all the dolls but have decided not to do the preorder due to the experience I had last year. I know it is going to be such a pain trying for a new doll every week, but I had to send my pre-ordered set back last year and it was nerve-wracking. I hope I'm making the right decision! :anxious:
 
I'd be okay with Meg and Hades, too, or even Frollo and Esmeralda, since I know people have been asking for them in the 17" line.

As far as what we can definitely expect, Belle and Gaston seems to be a given, though she'll probably be in her blue outfit, as that's the only times those two interact. I'd also expect to see Jasmine and Jafar, as we now have their 17" versions, but Disney could honestly put her in any of her three outfits and it would make sense. Cinderella and Lady Tremaine are also likely to appear, with Cinderella most likely in the pink gown because that would be easier to glam up than her work clothes. And, of course, Aurora and Maleficent would be the final pair I'd expect, given Maleficent's status amongst the Disney Villains. As for the gown, I am expecting it would be the blue version of the gown, since that's the color it is the one and only time Maleficent and the sixteen year old princess are in the same scene together.

Huh... if that's going to be the case, then doing the math and excluding the Harrods sets (as they're basically just glam versions of the 17" line anyway), it would give us a grand total of 3 Auroras in blue, 1 Briar Rose, and 1 Aurora in pink. And I'm kinda okay with that. I prefer her in pink, personally, but I'd be okay with there being more blues in the LE line, as that was the color Walt preferred. Plus, it just makes the pink doll pop when next to all those blue dolls.

On an unrelated note, as I'm typing this, the commercial for the Aladdin DVD release is playing on Disney Channel right now.
 
Ahhh I got lucky in the nick of time for this, haha. I only have enough saved for one set so I was going to go with the Rapunzel/Gothel set because it is by far my favorite, but my grandmother gave me her blessing to buy another as a gift from her so I'm going to be able to get Snow/Witch too which is so exciting because I LOVE Snow but all her dolls are too expensive on the secondary and I love her look in this set. Thank god too, because I forgot she was the first release.

Also, as to the above, I totally agree with the prediction for the second wave. Honestly, I'm DYING for the Maleficent/Aurora set. Sleeping Beauty is one of my favorites, and Maleficent is my favorite villain so I hope she looks better than her 17in. doll. Belle and Gaston will be amazing too I'm sure.

Congrats on getting two sets. If you haven't seen the Maleficent LE in person then I can assure you she looks a lot better, I love her box and that she comes with Diablo. I was unsure based on her promos but I love her in person. I took am excited for a possible future designer Aurora/Maleficent! I hope they do Aurora in blue with the hypnotised face as that will make her unique to the other Aurora solls!
 
It would be awesome if the Aurora/Maleficent set came with a spinning wheel.

Yeah, I've heard she's better in person but she didn't grab me as fitting my collection, but maybe it's because I don't have any other villains because Gothel is wicked pricy. I may get her later on.

But oh gosh I doubt she will be, but I'd loooove the hyponitized face. And god a spinning wheel would be exquisite. Just take my money pretty much.

Upon the 9/14 release date, will the pre-order for the entire set of 'Heroes vs. Villains' be searchable using a single common Item ID number as is customary for individual dolls? It will be my first time pre-ordering a set on the website.

Not much longer until the dolls start getting released! I can't wait for Peter and Hook! Anyone expecting the journals, mugs and so on to go online next week?

Rumor is the merch will go up with the pre-sales on the 14th. It would make sense, its how Disney has done it in the past. It'll be a hit or miss if the stores get everything next week.
 
The blog said in their initial announcement for the collection that "this line expands into a collection of apparel, mugs, journals, home décor and more, available to the general public in stores and online on September 14." So even if they don't come out that day after all (this came all the way back when they announced the D23 merchandise), that would be a morning I'd stay up for. :)

The last journals went for $16.50 so I would assume right around there again.

The purses are around $50 (I can't find where I saw that) and the long sleeve shirts are almost as much as the purses.
(Snow and Elsa are long sleeves, Ariel is a tank)
