I think I'm also in the top group. About half of that on EBay and DPF pin sales. The other half new releases. Normally, new releases are less but PODMs are expensive!
 
I thought I would be the only one in my bracket as I remembered I finished off my ptn pins this year on top of new ones, plus other pins etc Id say just just over $4000.... I would not have thought about it much but
 
:eek2: Gosh...hadn't thought about doing an annual spending analysis until I read this....!

The very happy news is that while I'm in the upper half of the catagories, I am far from the top. That being said, this was one of my best years out of the past almost 10 years of trading/collecting. My highest pin cost was $425 for an incredible grail framed set with multiple pins that I never thought I'd even see let alone own....and lowest cost was $3.25 for a wonderful little goodie...:hsd:

As a guestimate, I'd say maybe as much as $1000, probably more? My pin collection tripled in size this year, and not many of them were bought at cost...
 
LI I HATE YOU...i was happily eating Christmas left overs when i threw-up alittle while doing stinkin math! Thanks alot, now im depressed and have put myself on a no pin spend (til jan 1) if i can make it. Now i am going to slice a piece of canoli cake to drown my sorrows. So next time you see me, my butt will be twice as big and i'll be on Xanex from pin withdrawl, thanks for this thread.:squint:

were just some of the emotions that came along when I looked at the grand total! AGH!
 
ok i am dying....how many smily's can one use in a post appropriatly???? 12 the answer is 12....oh and i forgot my private purchases form folks on here...so add another $300 Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
 
from Sept to Dec. I know it has been alot but for the whole year I know we are over 4000. All the new BATB pins. This year I hope not to spend as much seeing they do not have cells
