Hey folks, I've always wondered how often members from the online pin trading community are able to make it out to the parks and trade in person. Once a year? Once a week? Share with us!

up until two yrs ago I was going every yr. But i have now switched to everyother yr and im going to be making my trip sometime in 2011 looking into Sept around the time of the big pin event!!

Every few months for me and my darling, though it will be twice this month since we are heading back to Disney for the Halloween Party! After this we're aiming for January again. Even though we're out of state we still hold annual passes, so when we do get the urge to go we can just hop on a plane and don't have to worry about the 100 dollars for a ticket!

WE have gone twice now in the last year, but I think we will stick with online trading for right now since we are looking to buy a house

good luck with the hunt and purchase! :)

www.redfin.com is a good site to check out -- a lot of resales/foreclosures are up on there, and the homes for sale are represented graphically with a map, so you can easily find the neighborhoods you think you wanna live in :)

Everytime we manage to get to the US - usually 2 - 3 times a year, although this will reduce now! I try to get to the Parks etc as much as possible - even leaving wifey to take the kids back to the hotel for a swim in the afternoon!! I LOVE trading in the parks!!

:( All you lucky people who live near Disney parks. I live in the UK, so I only get to go to DLRP once a year.

I try and go monthly but sometimes there are months i never make it to the park! too much work and family stuff gets in the way of my pin trading! lol Just like this weekend 2 events i could go to and i am scheduled to work and i dont know how much work i will get until after 6pm today when the schedule is finished and even then it may change overnight! but at least work has picked up a bit. we had a slowdown that is typical for august but it went into sept as well and as full timers get the work before me it took a bit before i got busier!

We are AP holders, but do not trade at the parks... I try to stop by and say hi or work on my comedy routine with DisneyDan when I see him :)

I try to go at least weekly, however sometimes that doesn't work out. I always make up for it by going twice another week! I've used my annual pass 76 times this year, I think it paid for itself! And I still have a month to go on it! LoL!

I try to get there at least once a month, maybe more! and I try to hit DLR at least once every 3 or so months

For the last few years, I've visited my parents two times a year. Which means I'm at WDW twice a year. This year's trips are May for the D23 Scavenger Hunt and Event, and Christmas.

I only trade online. I'm thinking of trying it in August when I go, but always when I'm at the parks the idea of trading pins is the last thing on my mind during a vacation.

I go once a month, but pretty much only to PTN.

I tried EPCOT just once, last month, and found it awkward. Most people don't carry pins I'm interested in, have scrappers, or try and shark me. And I don't like some of the looks I get when I ask for pins from the store, even though new releases are all I really want. ::shrug::

I usually go weekly. If it's a really busy time (like spring break) I will typically skip that week.
