Good luck with your bidding, Moe! You can totally count me out of this one!

p.s. Not to intrude, but I thought the sound lines or whatever were supposed to be on the left...? My Snow White PODM has them on the right, but all my others have them on the left (all from Year 2)... hmm! Does anyone know anything else about this? I'm curious now!

Edit: The cel on eBay is the right way around <3 Yay!

In order to view the cel from the front and have it look the same way it would as if you were watching the movie, the sound lines should be on the left hand side. Back when these first launched, pretty much all of the Snow Whites were inserted with the sound lines on the right (a.k.a. backwards). I've actually never seen a correctly oriented Snow White. This holds largely true until you hit the tail end of series 1 with Fantasia, Lady and the Tramp, and Sword in the Stone. By the time they got to those pins they finally figured out that the strips should be on the left. Between Snow White and Fantasia you would occasionally find a cel that was correctly oriented, similar to finding the occasional upside down cel, but the majority were backwards.

With Q4 of series 1 and series 2, the majority of the cels face the right way but you will occasionally find a backwards one just like an occasional upside down one. I think the pin that the larges number of upside down cels was Finding Nemo.

if you type in the search to find this listing:

Tangled piece of movie pin

you should find it. =) and i think it's up to 50-something watchers now. i don't have IE9, it doesn't show on IE8, nor on Google Chrome or Safari. There are sites that you can type in the listing number and it will show you how many watchers.

I personally would never have posted a thread like this. Posting on the forums calls a lot of unnecessary attention to an item and could dramatically inflate the end price of it. Its better to say nothing and hope a majority of people do not see it until after the fact. I have to ask though, what makes certain scenes more special than others? Did they make fewer of this particular one?

I think there are fewer frames of this scene and it is pretty neat. I want it because you can see so much of her hair and she has this funny look on her face. I have really long hair (ankle length) and I sometimes get that look myself when it catches on something or gets in the way.

For those that can't find it, search for "Disney Pin Piece of Movies Film Strip Tangled Flynn Rider Rapunzel Pin LE 2000"

I can't find this pin won't be bidding as I am broke for a month!

Can someone kindly pm me the link? Would love to see the drama of the bidding unfold....

I'd like the link too please...I've even looked through every hit after searching just disney & tangled and nada! But if it doesn't come up for some people then there will be less competition for you PODM fanatics!

BTW: why bid this early???...you're just driving the price up faster.

HOLY..............COW!!!!!(I was about to say the other word but didn't want to offend). 6 days left and the high bid is.................well it's pretty frickin high. Out of respect for the HIGH BIDDER(if it is Pin-A-Colada), i will not say how high. You'll just have to see for yourselves.

Um, it is not that much more than what they have been selling for. They go for roughly around $300-400 (I want one!). Now if it keeps going up it might set some records.

I think most people are going to wait for the last few seconds, so whatever the price is right now probably won't be that close to the end result...to anyone watching (I'm not) I would highly recommend watching the last 10 seconds of that pin unfold because it will be very fun

Anyone want to start a guessing pool on what it will sell for???

LOL... My guess is that it will be the first ever cell to break the $500 mark... Final price will be... $511...

What's your guess???

Hmmmmm...I don't really know, I think it'll go for somewhere around $550, if you want me to give an exact number, I'd say $561.53, honestly.

Wow! I'm watching the auction too.. not bidding cause its out of my price range.. good luck to everyone who plans on bidding!
