I got my first grail!!

I participated in my first ever DPF game hosted by Rocke01 and thanks to some Disney magic and complete selflessness by DocFish2U, I was able to get my grail

I was literally shaking opening the package!

So happy to add this to my collection, I think it fits in great there

Thank you to the kind DPF members that helped me make this grail a reality!!!

I didn't do much, I only didn't take a pin that allowed the Tiana to fall to you. I was happy to do it!!! I love it when people get their grails, either with my help or other means!!!

Congratulations and it looks fantastic there!!!

David, who usually is tweaking for credit, is being too kind! This was all him. he chose to not take a pin which allowed it to go to Mickeymousje (one that she really wanted) and then her second pick that she would have gotten went to you. It was a trickle down thing all started by David! He deserves all the credit for this one!

BTW... your siggy should thank Docfish2u not me. All I did was notice how it could go and mention it to David. David did the rest! Congratulations!

Hi lohofosho,
I absolutely love how you have displayed your pins, looks fantastic!!
I hope you don't mind me asking but what is a shadow box (is it like a deep set picture frame without the glass?) and also how did you get your pins to stay in lol.
Sorry for the thread jack but would love to create a similar display for my own collection once I get up and running

Thank you so much!

Yes a shadow box is just a frame that has is deeper set. This particular one I bought at Michael's. I got one that was 10 by 10 cause that was the size of the scrapbook paper I had found (at Joann's). Then I got a 4 pack of 10 by 10 cork boards and put them all in the frame to fill up the space (this is how the pins stay in as they are in a cork board). Then put the paper in the front. The frame came with glass, which I took out so that I could take my pins off and on as my collection is still growing. When I have filled the frame I can remove one of the cork pieces and put the glass back in the front.

Hope this helped!

congrats on the grail! c: that's a really vibrant display too! o: i really like that wallpaper. it's not too out there, so the pins are really highlighted. yeeeeesssss...
