Well I was on facebook and saw a post about Brave UK pin release back in August. I posted I want this pin and someone posted she would pick one up for me at cost and shiping so I paid her through paypal. This was on August 21st. she emailed me she got the payment and ordered the pin. It is now Sept. 19th and I still have no pin I emailed her on Sept 14th and have not heard back from her. I am starting to think I may be out money and no pin. :cry:.
 
I thought I was taken by a member on the forum from across the pond . End of June I received the pin and the postmark was May 12th . Hang in there you may still get it .

I have had problems lately with mail to Florida area going from the UK, it has taken 5 weeks to get there so there might be a chance it will arrive.
 
Yeah the post has been slow from usa to UK I ve been waiting six weeks sometimes lol.
Hope you get your pin soon
 
I've had more than my share of problems w the Royal Mail that doesn't explain no emails however!
 
This person is not on DPF that I know of. I found them on Facebook I emailed her again today but nothing yet. I am not loosing hope yet but it is a lot dimmer now then before.

I'm very sorry to hear that this has happened, but do bare in mind that it does take some time for packages to get from the UK to the USA, and plus, it could simply be lost in the post or sitting in a post office, waiting to be sent out.
 
My mom who lives in the UK ordered this for me and from when she ordered it to the time I actually got the pin, about a whole month had gone by because it takes so long for packages to get here! So I think there is definitely still hope! Perhaps she just hasn't been able to get online recently, I know that has happened to me a few times

I have the same, packages I sent from the Netherlands are taken much longer now than a couple of weeks before and als with receiving mail from the USA is taken much longer now....

Tori, I really hope she will contact you and you will get your pin, good luck!:hug:

Yeah, I just got the uk brave pin from you Emily, and I had started to get worried, I'm in Florida and just got mine this week. So give it a week or two, then worry.
 
I really hope she ordered it when she said she did. Those pins sold out here in a few days. So sorry. Hopefully she did order and it turns up soon. Our post from the US is dreadful, but occasionally one comes through within 3 days.
 
well Tori facebook is kinda rough, i am not sure what site on FB you "met" her, but there are not reference on there...you are way to trusting my dear. With that being said i would go back on the site and put a post asking anyone on that group if they know her or have contact with her. The mail duration isnt the issue it is the lack of contact which is the red flag. a UK member on her has left me high and dry and just disappeared owing me about $50 in LE UK pins....worse case you dont get your pins but i no longer have a problem with calling cheatts and theives out on public forums...scam artists need to be flagged. Now on the positive side, you very well may get the pin, but people need to communicate better if they want to trade. OR THEY SHOULDNT.

also did you friend her on FB? i would, so you can see when she has been on FB therfore you know she has seen your PMs and she is ignoring them...then you have your answer

You can also contact paypal if you sent it as good/services you will have recourse to get you money back.
