Is this a Shady too good to be true Deal for Alice and Snow White?
So I'm hunting down Alice LE 17 doll right now like I'm sure most people are. Ebay has an Alice+Snow White combo deal. I already have snow white but this deal seemed really good. The bid started at 99 cent no reserves and now it's at 500 with 5 days left. Originally the seller accepted paypal and now this message appeared for the listing: On Feb-20-13 at 12:15:56 PST, seller added the following information:Please note, i cannot accept papal. I am having account issues. the items are still availible, so if you live locally we can work something out. or if you want to do something else that is fine too, like a Mo or check. just message me on facebook Teddy Ruetz in tucson az
First off why wouldn't this seller be able to fix their paypal account by 5 days?
Second to only accept check or MO seems risky to me.
Third he listed his contact as a facebook and not going through the proper channels through ebay. I pulled up his facebook page and there really wasn't much info I can gather from there.
Any thoughts? I guess my gut feeling is something is shady or off but maybe i'm also over thinking it? :anxious:
As far as listing eBay sellers names I do not understand why I would want to show courtesy to someone who is being dodgy/shady/a bad seller. We all know how to be good sellers and what to do/ what not to do in these situations, so giving bad sellers any leeway does not make sense to me, IMHO.
I live in AZ, I do not know if that helps but I accept paypal LOL maybe we could work out a pick up deal if it is near Tempe.
